Method for manufacturing transparent composite material
A method for manufacturing a transparent composite material including preparing a film coated with a transparent resin, unidirectionally aligning glass fiber filaments and manufacturing a glass fiber plate by embedding the unidirectionally aligned glass fiber filaments in the transparent resin, wherein the transparent resin includes SiOSi bond and one of methyl, ethyl and phenyl.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING DRY LINERS FOR PIPE REPAIR
A method of manufacturing a liner for reinforcing a pipe includes providing a continuous first reinforcing fibers extending in a first direction, moving the first reinforcing fibers in a machine direction such that the first direction is parallel to the machine direction, providing sheets of a material having second reinforcing fibers extending in a second direction, placing the sheets onto the moving first reinforcing fibers such that the second direction is substantially perpendicular to the first direction, and folding the sheets into a closed shape.
CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPTICAL DISPLAY UNIT
A continuous manufacturing apparatus for an optical display unit which allows for laminating a sheet of optical functional film with a panel member, even when length of each of their long sides is wide, without lowering lamination accuracy and/or increasing generation of bubbles by lamination. In a RTP system using laminating rollers having sufficient length not being bent by their own weight, when using a sheet of optical functional film which each of long sides is longer than the length of the laminating rollers, each of the sheets of optical functional film is conveyed on a band of carrier film in a continuously aligned state such that each of short sides extend in a direction crossing a conveying direction, and peeled from the band of carrier film at a laminating part to be laminated with one of opposite surfaces of the panel member.
Method of manufacturing display unit and system for laminating optical film
The present specification relates to a display unit manufacturing method and an optical film laminating system.
Systems and methods for combined radiation and functional layer application
A combined radiation and functional layer application system includes one or more radiation sources and a commonly located functional layer application unit configured to dispose a functional layer over the surface of a fixed target ahead of the radiation sources during relative motion between the target and the radiation sources/application unit. System and method embodiments include those in which the target is stationary or moving, and embodiments in which the functional layer is applied as a liquid or as a solid laminate. Embodiments relate to application of an oxygen-blocking layer of a printing plate prior to exposure to actinic radiation. Certain solid laminate embodiments include a two-roll system for positioning the laminate for cutting adjacent a trailing edge of the plate.
Process And Apparatus For Continuously Encapsulating Elongated Components And Encapsulated Elongated Components Obtained
An encapsulated electrotextile includes at least one electrotextile strip and at least one elongated wire. The at least one electrotextile strip and the at least one elongated wire are laminated between two encapsulation films.
Method for making a multilayer adhesive laminate
A method allows for rapid manufacture of relatively thick adhesive coatings using a continuous process, where a single thin coating is continuously converted into a single thicker adhesive laminate. An exemplary process includes the steps of: (1) producing a web having a first surface with an adhesive layer and a second surface with a release liner; (2) slitting the web longitudinally into a first section and a second section; (3) laminating a backing film to the adhesive layer of the first section; (4) removing the release liner of the laminate of step (3) exposing the adhesive layer of the first section; and (5) laminating the second section to the laminate of step (4), wherein the adhesive layer of the laminate of step (4) is combined with the adhesive layer of the second section.
LAMINATING MACHINE FOR PRODUCING MULTILAYER FILMS
A laminating machine for producing multilayer films, which comprises at least one first unwinding assembly for a first film, at least one second unwinding assembly for a second film, and at least one third unwinding assembly for a third film; laminating means for laminating together the films, with the interposition of an adhesive material, and applicator means of the adhesive material; the first unwinding assembly and the second unwinding assembly are arranged along a first direction of extension of the machine; the third unwinding assembly is arranged along a second direction of extension of the machine which is substantially transverse with respect to the first direction of extension, and is positioned laterally with respect to a vertical plane which is substantially parallel to the first direction of extension and passes through the first unwinding assembly and the second unwinding assembly.
Process and apparatus for continuously encapsulating elongated components and encapsulated elongated components obtained
A process for a continuous production of an encapsulated component web by conveying at least two continuous encapsulation films along a longitudinal axis of a production line with at least one of the two continuous encapsulation films having an adhesive layer on an inner face thereof; inserting at least one encapsulatable component between the two continuous encapsulation films; conveying an assembly including the two continuous encapsulation films with the at least one encapsulatable component extending therebetween in a nip defined in between at least two contiguous rolls; and laminating the assembly to encapsulate the at least one encapsulatable component between the two continuous encapsulation films. There is also provided an apparatus for carrying out the process.
