Disclosed are an embedded co-cured composite material with large-damping and electromagnetic wave absorbing properties and a preparation method and an application thereof, belonging to damping composite materials. The embedded co-cured composite material is formed by interlacing a plurality of electromagnetic wave absorbing prepreg layers and a plurality of electromagnetic wave absorbing damping layers. Each of the electromagnetic wave absorbing prepregs layers includes a fiber cloth, a micro-nano electromagnetic wave absorbing material and a resin. Contents of the micro-nano electromagnetic wave absorbing material in the electromagnetic wave absorbing prepreg layers and the electromagnetic wave absorbing damping layers have a gradient increase or decrease according to a sequence of the electromagnetic wave absorbing prepreg layers. Each of the electromagnetic wave absorbing damping layers includes a viscoelastic damping material and the micro-nano electromagnetic wave absorbing material.
FIBER REINFORCED MATERIALS WITH IMPROVED FATIGUE PERFORMANCE
A unidirectional laminate comprising a fiber reinforced composite material having a main relaxation temperature (Tα) in a range between about 110° C. and 140° C. The composite comprises a plurality of unidirectional reinforcement fibers coated with a sizing composition and a matrix resin. The unidirectional laminate has a tensile modulus of at least 45 GPa at a fiber volume fraction greater than or equal to 50% and fatigue mechanical performance of at least 450 MPa at 1 MM cycles, measured according to ASTM E 739-91.

Some laminates include an inner section having one or more first laminae and one or more second laminae, and first and second outer sections disposed on opposing sides of the inner section, each having one or more third laminae The laminate has a width and a length that is perpendicular to the width. Each of the first lamina(e) can have fibers aligned in a direction parallel to the length, each of the second lamina(e) can have fibers aligned in a direction parallel to the width, and each of the third lamina(e) can have fibers aligned in a direction angnlarly disposed at an angle of at least 10 degrees to each of the length and the width.

A method for forming the laminate countertop includes steps of providing the base support and adhering the laminate cover over at least a portion of the top surface and a portion of the curved edge profile of the base support.

A wind turbine component, the wind turbine component comprising a laminate of layers with an outer side and an inner side, wherein the outer side faces an exterior of the wind turbine component and the inner side faces an interior of the wind turbine component, the laminate of layers being configured to reflect a radar wave impinging the outer side of the laminate of layers, wherein a reflection loss of the reflected radar wave is below a threshold at a frequency, the laminate of layers comprising: an attenuating layer comprising reinforcing fiberglass or reinforcing carbon fibers, a polymer matrix, and radar absorbing particles; a reflective layer arranged on the inner side of the attenuating layer, the reflective layer being configured to reflect a transmitted portion of the radar wave, the transmitted portion of the radar wave being a portion of the radar wave that has passed through the attenuating layer.

The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced-resin composite molded article including: a rigid layer that is formed of a fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer; a shaping layer that is formed, at least on one side of the rigid layer, of a shaping-layer compound composed of a thermosetting resin and fibers that are shorter than fibers contained in the fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer; and a cured resin being formed of a liquid-state resin that is deposited on the surface of the shaping layer. The fiber-reinforced-resin composite molded article has a structure in which the fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer, the shaping-layer compound, and the liquid-state resin are cured under heat and pressure in a layered state.
