Packaging material for power storage device and power storage device using the same
A packaging material for a power storage device includes a structure made up of a cover layer, a barrier layer, a sealant adhesive layer, and a sealant layer laminated in this general order. In the packaging material, the barrier layer has an aluminum foil layer and an anticorrosion treatment layer that is provided to a sealant layer side surface of the aluminum foil layer and faces the sealant adhesive layer. The sealant layer side surface of the aluminum foil layer has a 60 glossiness that is 690 or less in both MD and TD, and has a difference in 60 glossiness between MD and TD that is 100 or less.
Fabrication of composite laminates having thin interlayers
A method of fabricating a composite laminate comprises forming a stack including first and second fiber beds and an interlayer between the fiber beds. The fiber beds are impregnated with matrix resin. The interlayer includes a soluble thermoplastic component on an insoluble component. The method further comprises dissolving the soluble thermoplastic component into the matrix resin to reduce thickness of the interlayer.
Latex-bonded metal and cement members
A dried latex emulsion coating on a surface of a metal member is used as a thin bond layer on well tubular joints, on tubular strings in wells, and on other metal members. The bond layer promotes adhesion to cement members formed from hardening a cement slurry in contact with the bond layer. The bond layer can be used in bonded cement structures, on well tubular joints, on tubular strings in a well, on tubular strings cemented in a well, in methods of making the cement structures and the tubular strings, and in methods of placing and cementing a tubular string in a well.
ELASTOMER CONTAINING MULTILAYER FILM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A multilayer film including at least one abuse layer. The abuse layer being a blend of one or more polyamides and an anhydride grafted or maleic anhydride grafted elastomer. Anhydride or maleic anhydride grafted elastomers include ethylene propylene diene monomer, ethylene propylene copolymer, styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene, ethylene/octene copolymer and blends thereof. A pouch for made from the multilayer film, a method for packaging a food product with the multilayer film are also disclosed.
Mold-release film
The objective of the present invention is to provide a mold-release film that docs not contaminate the mold or the formed body. This invention provides a mold-release film comprising a base material layer formed from a thermoplastic resin, and a surface layer formed from a resin composition layered on at least one surface of the base material layer. The mold-release film has a trouser tear strength, conforming to JIS K 7128-1, of 5 N/mm or stronger. The resin composition has a peel strength of 15 mN/30 mm or weaker, as measured at 175 C. in accordance with JIS Z0237. The resin composition has an elongation at break of 70% or greater, as measured at 175 C. in accordance with JIS K 7127.
HIGHLY FILLED HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, COMPOSITION, COATING LIQUID AND MOLDED ARTICLE
[Problem] Provided are a high filler-loaded high thermal conductive material which sufficiently utilizes features of an organic polymer while ameliorating drawbacks, enables integrated molding with ceramics, metals, semiconductor elements and the like, and has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and a high thermal conductivity; and a method for producing the high filler-loaded high thermal conductive material, a composition, coating liquid and a molded article.
[Solution] Disclosed is a high filler-loaded high thermal conductive material formed by subjecting a composition which includes organic polymer particles and a thermally conductive filler having a graphite-like structure, and includes 5 to 60% by weight of the organic polymer particles and 40 to 95% by weight of the thermally conductive filler having a graphite-like structure relative to 100% by weight of the total amount of these components, is obtained, so that the thermally conductive filler is dispersed by delamination while maintaining the average planar particle size of the thermally conductive filler, and is capable of forming a thermally conductive infinite cluster; to press molding at a temperature higher than equal to the deflection temperature under load, melting point or glass transition temperature of the organic polymer and a pressure of 1 to 1000 kgf/cm.sup.2; and to cooling and solidification.
FILM COATED MINERAL-ENTRAINED POLYMERS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A method for reducing friability and/or mineral dusting of a mineral loaded polymer is provided. The method includes providing a mineral loaded polymer article made from a monolithic material formed of at least a base polymer and an active agent. The active agent is in the form of minerals. The article has an external surface onto which a film coating is applied using a liquid solution that solidifies to form the film coating. The film coating substantially prevents release of the minerals outside of the article while at the same time provides gas permeability to facilitate transmission of a gas between an environment external to the film coating and the minerals loaded within the article.
