HIGH-PERFORMANCE THERMAL INSULATION PRODUCTS
The invention relates to an insulation product formed from at least two insulating layers containing aerogels, each of said layers comprising from 25 to 95 wt % of aerogel(s) and from 5 to 75 wt % of fibers, said insulating layers being joined together by means of an organic adhesive, advantageously aqueous, based on vinyl polymer(s).
The invention also relates to a method for obtaining said product.
Hot fill laminate
A multi-layered film laminate for use in making hot filled blister packages and a method of making such material is provided. The laminate generally includes a central core layer of barrier polymer film disposed between a slip film and a thermostable film. In particularly advantageous embodiments, the barrier film is a polychlorotrifluoroethylene film, the slip film is a polyvinyl chloride film, and the heat resistant film is a temperature resistant copolyester. The disclosed material provides a high moisture barrier and a stable inter-laminar structure that can withstand hot filling of liquids, such as liquids used to form soft and/or gummy dosages on form-fill-and-seal blister packaging machines.
Melamine resin decorative sheet and method of refurbishing finished surface
A melamine resin decorative sheet of the present invention includes a laminate structure of a surface layer and a core layer, in which the surface layer is configured of a surface layer material composed of a surface layer base material which carries a resin containing a melamine resin on a first surface side that serves as a design surface and which carries a solid content of a thermoplastic emulsion resin on a second surface side that contacts with the core layer, and in which the core layer is configured of a heat dissipative material layer.
BACKLIGHT UNIT, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, AND WAVELENGTH CONVERSION MEMBER
Provided is a backlight unit, including: a light source allowing light having a light emission center wavelength of nm to exit; and a wavelength conversion member positioned on an optical path of the light exiting from the light source, in which the wavelength conversion member includes a wavelength conversion layer containing a fluorescent material which is excited by exciting light and emits fluorescent light, and a light scattering layer containing particles having a particle size of greater than or equal to 0.1 m in a matrix, an average refractive index n1 of the wavelength conversion layer satisfies a relationship of n1<n2 with respect to an average refractive index n2 of the matrix of the light scattering layer, and a light absorptivity of the light scattering layer at a wavelength of nm is less than or equal to 8.0%.
POLYPROPYLENE FILM AND MOLD RELEASE FILM
A polypropylene film includes a surface layer (I) with polypropylene as a main component at least on one face of a base layer. Surface free energy of the surface layer (I) is 15 mN/m or more and less than 28 mN/m. A mold release film includes a polypropylene film including a surface layer (I) with polypropylene as a main component at least on one face of a base layer, wherein surface free energy of the surface layer (I) is 15 mN/m or more and less than 28 mN/M.
Laminate screen for a roller blind
A roller blind assembly is described that is made at least in part with a laminate material that includes a roller blind screen and a non-woven backing material applied to the roller blind screen by pressure or heat. If an adhesive is used, the adhesive can be applied to the front side of the non-woven backing material, after which the front side of the non-woven backing material is then attached or bonded to the rear side of the roller blind screen to form the roller blind laminate material. When placed in an architectural opening, such as a window, the roller blind laminate material can reduce or diffuse the light transmission in a room to create a diffused, opaque, or shielded view to the outside while still providing a warm ambiance to an architectural structure or room.
Packaging material for batteries
A packaging material for batteries, which is formed of a laminate that sequentially includes a base layer, an adhesive layer, a barrier layer and a sealant layer in this order. By having the adhesive layer formed of a cured product of a resin composition that contains a thermosetting resin and (A) a curing accelerator and an elastomer resin or (B) reactive resin beads, the adhesive layer arranged between the base layer and the barrier layer can be cured in a short time, thereby reducing the lead time. In addition, by providing the adhesive layer between the base layer and the barrier layer, the adhesion strength between the base layer and the barrier layer is increased and excellent formability can be achieved.
Scrubber
A scrubber and methods of forming a scrubber. The scrubber may include a foamed melamine resin, a first foamed polyurethane resin, a second foamed polyurethane resin, and a binder. The scrubber can be configured to exhibit the properties of both a scrubber and an eraser, and have a density ranging from 0.01 to 0.5 grams per cm.sup.3. A method of forming the scrubber may include the following steps: mixing foamed melamine resin particles, first foamed polyurethane resin particles, and second foamed polyurethane resin particles to form a first mixture; and mixing the first mixture with a binder to form a second mixture.
Layer composite door systems
Composite door systems that are configured for providing safety, security, and resistance to physical impacts or threats (natural and man-caused), and which can be utilized in barrier structures, such as for doors. The composite door systems may include one or more layers, each of which may have one or more fiber layers, such as fabric layers or plastic layers. The composite door systems may further include one or more additional layers of a sheet material, a fill material, or the like. The composite door systems are infinitely customizable and configured to be adapted to a variety of applications, and scalable levels of protection.
SELF-REPAIRING MULTILAYER MATERIALS
The present invention relates to a multilayer material (1) comprising a plurality of layers (10, 10, 20) associated with one another by means of an inserted film (30, 30) that is suitable for restoring or reinforcing the adhesion of the layers during a heating operation, the film (30, 30) comprising one or more first component(s) (31) forming an assembly of particles, and one or more second component(s) (32) forming a homogeneous assembly around the particles of the first component(s) (31). The second components (32) have a fluidisation temperature (Tf32) that is less than the decomposition temperature (Td31) of the first component(s) (31) and less than the decomposition temperature (Td10, Td20) of the other layers of the multilayer material. The dimension of at least 70% or at least 80% or from 70% to 90% of the particles of the first component(s) (31) is between 0.1 micrometres and 15 micrometres.
