A cooling material is provided. The cooling material can include a yarn having a defined denier of less than or equal to approximately 90 denier, wherein the yarn can comprise a cooling additive disposed on or in a polymer. In some embodiments, the yarn can be at least one of a warp or a weft of a woven fabric. A method can comprise receiving a cooling material, wherein the cooling material comprises: a polymer and a cooling additive, wherein the cooling additive is disposed on or in the polymer; and processing the cooling material by employing a non-weaving technique to create a non-woven fabric. In some embodiments, the non-weaving technique is one of a meltblown process, a spunbond process, or a multi-denier process.

FLOOR, WALL, OR CEILING PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

A floor, wall, or ceiling panel has a base made of a wood material and an upper veneer. The base and the veneer are hot-pressed together while incorporating a resin layer. During the pressing process, pores, cracks, and/or gaps in the veneer are filled with resin. In particular, the pressing process is carried out such that the veneer is saturated with resin, and the resin can be seen on the surface of the veneer after the pressing process The adhesion of the veneer to the base and the smoothing of the veneer are thus carried out in one operation.

Methods for making composite products containing lignocellulose substrates

A method for making a composite product can include combining a plurality of lignocellulose substrates and a binder to produce a resinated furnish. The binder can be or include a polyphenolic compound, a free radical precursor, and an unsaturated compound having two or more unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds. At least one of the unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds is a pi-bond that is not conjugated with an aromatic moiety and is capable of free radical addition. The method can also include pressing the resinated furnish between at least two surfaces in a press, where at least one of the at least two surfaces can be a porous surface, and at least partially curing the binder in the resinated furnish to produce a composite product.
