A biaxially oriented polyester film characterized by a content of antimony in the film of 10 ppm or less, a content of phosphorus in the film of 25 ppm or more and 75 ppm or less, an intrinsic viscosity of the film of 0.51 dl/g or more and 0.70 dl/g or less, and a number of defects with a size of 1 mm or more is 1.0 or less per 1000 square meters of the film.
SYNTHETIC RESIN LAMINATED SHEET
A synthetic resin laminated sheet, in which whitening, cracking, and foaming do not occur when thermoforming is carried out, in particular when deep-draw molding is carried out, and defects do not occur during lamination of a hard coating layer; and a molded article obtained by molding the laminated sheet. A synthetic resin laminated sheet has a coating layer, which includes an acrylic resin, laminated on one surface of a substrate layer including a polycarbonate resin in which a monohydric phenol represented by general formula (1) is used as a chain terminator and is obtained by reacting the monohydric phenol with a dihydric phenol and a carbonate binding agent and has a viscosity average molecular weight of 18000-35000. (In the formula, R1 represents a C8-36 alkyl group or a C8-36 alkenyl group. R2-R5 each represent hydrogen, halogen, or an optionally substituted C1-20 alkyl group or C6-12 aryl group).
##STR00001##
Resin composition, and pre-preg, metal-clad laminate, and printed circuit board prepared using the same
A resin composition is provided. The resin composition comprises: (A) a compound having a structure of formula (I), ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1 is an organic group; and (B) a vinyl-containing elastomer, wherein the weight ratio of the compound having the structure of formula (I) to the vinyl-containing elastomer is 20:1 to 1:1.
Polymeric Membrane Useful As A Commercial Roofing Membrane
The present disclosure provides a polymeric membrane. The polymeric membrane includes a first thermoplastic elastomer layer. The thermoplastic elastomer layer includes a filler component that is at least about 30 wt % of the thermoplastic elastomer layer. The polymeric membrane can further include an optional second thermoplastic elastomer layer in contact with the first polyolefin layer.
THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE LAMINATE
The thermally conductive laminate of an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a thermally conductive resin layer containing a thermally conductive raw material and a resin and having first and second major faces, and a porous base material provided on at least one of the first and second major faces of the thermally conductive resin layer, the porous base material being arranged in a proportion of approximately 75% or less relative to a total area of the major faces of the thermally conductive resin layer to which the base material was arranged.
THERMAL CONDUCTIVE SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND HEAT DISSIPATION STRUCTURE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A thermal conductive sheet includes a cured product of a resin composition containing carbon fiber, an inorganic filler other than carbon fiber, and binder resin. The tack force of the sheet surface is 100 gf or greater, determined when the sheet between release films is subjected to press processing at 0.5 MPa for 30 sec, and after the films are peeled off, is indented by 50 μm at 2 mm/second with a probe 5.1 mm in diameter and the probe is pulled away at 10 mm/sec. Additionally, (B/A)×100≥80% is true, where A denotes the tack force of the sheet surface after the films are peeled off subsequent to press processing; and B denotes the tack force of the sheet surface when the sheet is indented by 50 μm at 2 mm/second with a probe 5.1 mm in diameter and the probe is pulled away at 10 mm/second after exposure to atmosphere for 1 hour subsequent to press processing.
MULTILAYER SHEETS FOR HEAT EXCHANGERS
An air thermal conditioning system for at least one of heating air and cooling air. The air thermal conditioning system comprises one or more heat exchanger units that include at least one fluid chamber defined by first and second multilayer sheets. The first and second multilayer sheets each comprise an inner layer defining the at least one fluid chamber; a middle layer; and an outer layer that defines external opposing faces of the heat exchanger unit, the middle layer disposed between the inner layer and outer layer.
Composite Display Cover
Implementations for composite display cover are described and provide improved protection and durability to device displays as compared with conventional display protection technologies. The described composite display cover, for instance, utilizes an ultra-thin glass layer with a polymer film applied directly to the glass layer and a hard coat applied to the polymer film. The polymer film, for instance, is applied to the glass layer without an adhesive. Further, the composite display cover can be attached to a display, such as via an adhesive layer that adheres the glass layer to a surface of the display.
