Manufacturing a concentrating sub-module comprising a heat-dissipating material
A method for manufacturing a concentrating photovoltaic solar sub-module equipped with a reflective face having a concave predefined geometric shape, wherein it includes laminating, in a single step, a multi-layer assembly comprising in succession: a structural element equipped with a reflective first face and a second face, opposite the first; a layer of a material of good thermal conductivity, higher than that of the material from which the structural element is composed, the layer being placed on the second face of the structural element; a layer of encapsulant or of adhesive; a photovoltaic receiver, the layer of encapsulant or of adhesive being placed between the layer of a material of good thermal conductivity and the receiver; a layer made of transparent encapsulating material, covering at least the entire surface of the photovoltaic receiver; and a transparent protective layer covering the layer made of transparent encapsulating material; and during the lamination, the reflective face of the structural element is shaped by being brought into contact with a convex surface of a counter-mold, in order to obtain the reflective face of concave predefined geometric shape.
GALLEY INSERTS
A galley insert is provided. The galley insert comprising: a housing and a door. The housing is made from a first material that comprises: a first layer of continuous-fibre reinforced thermoplastic, CFRT, a second layer of CFRT, and a foam core arranged between the first and second layers of CFRT. The second layer forms an outermost surface of the housing. A method of making a galley insert is also provided.
Functional laminate and production method therefor
Provided is a functional laminate including a porous intermediate layer having air permeability laminated between a porous surface layer and a resin foamed layer, the porous intermediate layer having an affinity to a foaming resin forming the resin foamed layer.
Recreational vehicle component with image and method of manufacturing
A structural panel for a recreational vehicle includes a plurality of layers laminated together to form a lamination. The lamination forms an outer surface of the structural panel, which is configured to form a sidewall, a ceiling, or a floor of the recreational vehicle when mounted in the recreational vehicle relative to the vehicle chassis. The structural panel further includes an image that is formed on or in one of the plurality of layers in or internal to the structural panel and which is visible at the outer surface. The image is in a location that is in a known fixed registry with a structural reference, such as the outer perimeter, of the structural panel prior to the panel being mounted in the recreational vehicle wherein the location of the image is known relative to the structural reference of the structural panel.
A SEALING DEVICE WITH INCREASED SURFACE ROUGHNESS
A sealing device includes a functional layer having a first major surface and a second major surface and a barrier layer directly or indirectly connected to the second major surface of the functional layer, wherein the functional layer has a surface roughness having a waviness factor W.sub.f. Also disclosed is a method for producing a sealing device and the use of a sealing device for waterproofing of a substrate.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
For a display device having reinforced structural characteristics and an electronic apparatus including the display device, the display device includes a display panel including a first display area, a second display area including a keyboard area, and a folding display area between the first display area and the second display area, a cover window arranged on a front surface of the display panel and including a first section and a second section, wherein the first section and the second section respectively overlap the first display area and the second display area on a plane, and a base plate arranged on a rear surface of the display panel, wherein a thickness of the second section of the cover window is greater than a thickness of the first section of the cover window.
BIODEGRADABLE SHEET WITH ANTIVIRAL PROPERTIES, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND USE THEREOF
Provided are a biodegradable sheet with antiviral properties, a manufacturing method thereof, and the use thereof. The biodegradable sheet comprises: a biodegradable polymer resin consisting of a polylactic acid-based polymer; or a composite degradable polymer resin comprising of a biodegradable resin and a petrochemical resin; and particles of an inorganic antiviral agent or aggregated composite particles of at least two inorganic antiviral agents incorporated into the biodegradable sheet so that the inorganic antiviral agent can be dispersed with a particle size of 100 to 900 nm.
COMPOSITE SANDWICH COMPONENTS
Methods of manufacturing composite sandwich components (100) and composite sandwich components overcome drawbacks in the prior art. For example, the large number of resin filled perforations that are unavoidable when manufacturing prior art composite sandwich components is avoided.
COMPOSITE MATERIALS FOR DAMPING ACOUSTIC VIBRATIONS
An article for damping vibrations by constrained layer damping comprising: a first constraining layer; a second constraining layer; and a damping layer disposed between the first and second constraining layers, wherein the first and second constraining layers each independently comprise a fibre-reinforced composite material, wherein the first and second constraining layers each independently have a thickness from 1.5 to 5 mm, wherein the damping layer comprises a viscoelastic material, wherein the damping layer has a thickness from 1 to 10 mm and wherein the article has a thickness from 6 to 50 mm. The invention also relates to the use of said article for damping vibrations in a vehicle.
Aircraft flooring architecture
A flooring system for enclosures or vehicles, such as an aircraft flooring architecture, includes a flooring panel with at least an upper layer, a core ply, and a bottom layer. The bottom layer of the flooring panel has a top face and a bottom face, an upper layer of the flooring panel has an upper face and a lower face, and a core ply of the flooring panel has an upper surface bonded to the lower face of the upper layer and a bottom surface bonded to the top face of the bottom layer. The bottom face of the bottom layer is located on a structural floor of an enclosure or vehicle, such as the aircraft, and the bottom layer of the flooring panel slides over the structural floor.
