A floor covering including a flexible underfloor having at least one foamed polymer layer; one or more sheet vinyl floor elements or LVT floor elements, one or more LVT floor elements, or one or more rigid LVT floor elements, an adhesive layer that bonds the underfloor and the floor element to one another.

The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced-resin composite molded article including: a rigid layer that is formed of a fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer; a shaping layer that is formed, at least on one side of the rigid layer, of a shaping-layer compound composed of a thermosetting resin and fibers that are shorter than fibers contained in the fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer; and a cured resin being formed of a liquid-state resin that is deposited on the surface of the shaping layer. The fiber-reinforced-resin composite molded article has a structure in which the fiber-reinforced-resin material for a rigid layer, the shaping-layer compound, and the liquid-state resin are cured under heat and pressure in a layered state.

A light-emitting carpet or light-emitting trim panel that employs a translucent polymer sheet that has a protective layer and a plurality of cavities configured to accept a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) arranged to generate light where the LEDs are configured to align and project into the polymeric sheet cavities.

The invention relates to the use of special polymer layers as barriers, in particular as barrier layers in composite materials. Suitable polymers for the polymer layer are copolymers consisting of ethylene and vinyl alcohol or consisting of ethylene and carbon monoxide or consisting of ethylene and carbon monoxide and propylene. These barrier layers exhibit a selective barrier effect with respect to different gases, the barrier effect being especially effective with respect to HFOs. An article for damping vibrations by constrained layer damping comprising: a first constraining layer; a second constraining layer; and a damping layer disposed between the first and second constraining layers, wherein the first and second constraining layers each independently comprise a fibre-reinforced composite material, wherein the first and second constraining layers each independently have a thickness from 1.5 to 5 mm, wherein the damping layer comprises a viscoelastic material, wherein the damping layer has a thickness from 1 to 10 mm and wherein the article has a thickness from 6 to 50 mm. The invention also relates to the use of said article for damping vibrations in a vehicle.

A continuous flexible cement sheet roll for coating construction slabs, is disclosed. The sheet comprising a flexible cement layer, which has a thickness of between 0.3 to 6 mm, such as between 0.5 and 5 mm, and which comprises a) essentially inorganic mortar and b) up to 15% polymeric binder. When the amount of a component in a mixture is expressed in % units, the weight % of the component relative to the weight of the whole mixture is intended. The flexible cement sheet roll of the invention comprises, a reinforcing layer of a thickness lower than the thickness of said cement layer, selected from films of a nonwoven fabrics, layers of organic or inorganic fibers, polymer webs, chop strand mat, and fiberglass mats, among others.
