Long decorative material with embossing in register with pattern and rolling method and device therefor
A long decorative material with an embossing in register with a pattern, a rolling method and a device therefor are described herein. The method comprises a feeding step of feeding a layered raw material of a long decorative material to be rolled into oppositely rolling rollers; and a rolling step of hot rolling an embossing on the transparent plastic layer. A feeding tension of a printed plastic layer is adjusted according to a longitudinal deviation between the embossing and the pattern in the rolling step. The device comprises a first feeding device, a second feeding device, the oppositely rolling rollers, a detecting device, and a tension controller disposed on the second feeding device. According to the long decorative material with the embossing in register with the pattern manufactured by the method, the embossing hot-rolled on the transparent plastic layer is in register with the pattern on the printed plastic layer. The method, device and the long decorative material with the embossing in register with the pattern processed thereby can implement the embossing on the transparent plastic layer in register with the pattern on the printed plastic layer and have high production efficiency, low cost and less energy consumption.
Biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet containing a solid article
A sachet product that includes a biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet comprising a front film and a back film. In some examples, the front film and back film can include a middle layer that can contain paper with greater than 85% cellulose and an inner layer that can include different material, including but not limited to polyvinyl alcohol or polyhydroxylalkonate. The sachet can include a compartment adapted for storing a solid article where the solid article is an open cell foam. The open cell foam can include a water-soluble polymer and a surfactant.
LAMINATED GLASS
The present invention is a windshield on which an information acquisition device that acquires information from outside of a vehicle by emitting and/or receiving light can be arranged, the windshield including: an outer glass plate; an inner glass plate; an interlayer film arranged between the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate; and a mask layer laminated on at least one of a surface on a vehicle interior side of the outer glass plate and a surface on a vehicle exterior side of the inner glass plate, in which the interlayer film includes a colored shade region, a transparent non-shade region, and a transparent sheet member that is fitted into at least one through hole formed over the shade region and the non-shade region.
GLASS PANES OR LAMINATES HAVING A COATING ON AT LEAST ONE SIDE AND PASTES FOR PRODUCING SUCH A COATING
Coated glass panes having a glass pane and a coating in at least one region of at least one side of the glass pane. The glass pane is composed of glass with SiO.sub.2 and B.sub.2O.sub.3. The coating includes first coating applied in at least one region of the at least one side. The first coating has a binder with SiO.sub.2 and a pigment. The glass pane, in the at least one region, has a flexural strength between at least 5 and at most 170 MPa.
METHOD OF MAKING FILM LAMINATES USING AMINE-REACTIVE ACRYLIC LAMINATION ADHESIVES
A description is given of a method of making film laminates using a lamination adhesive comprising (a) at least one acrylic polymer A with anhydride groups which are reactive with primary or secondary amine groups; and (b) at least one compound B with at least two amine groups selected from primary and secondary amine groups. The acrylic polymer A has a molecular weight of from 3000 to 50000 and the lamination adhesive is free of organic solvents, free of water and free of compounds with isocyanate groups.
Bulk Diffuser
This disclosure describes a composition that includes a bulk diffuser that includes a film having a major surface; the film includes a polymer, and a scattering element. The scattering element includes a silicone bead having a mean particle diameter in a range of 2 micrometers (μm) to 9 μm. The linear density of the film is at least 5.1 W.sub.i*μm, wherein the linear density equals the product of the mass fraction of the silicone bead (W.sub.i) and film thickness in micrometers (μm). This disclosure further describes methods of making the film and the bulk diffuser and methods of using the film including, for example, as a bulk diffuser in a sign box.
ABSORPTIVE REUSABLE COASTER
Reusable coasters with absorptive properties and liquid-activated designs are described herein. In some embodiments, the coaster includes a cover layer with bonded fibers and a liquid absorption layer. An adhesive may bond the first layer and second layer around a perimeter such that a portion is not bonded to prevent the adhesive from obstructing liquid passing from the bonded fibers of the first layer to the absorptive material included in the second layer. The opening in the portion may further prevent obstructing the view of liquid-activated images, which may be printed on the liquid absorption layer. The cover layer may protect the liquid absorption layer from direct contact with solid objects and help maintain the shape of the absorptive material when wet.
Decorative sheet
A decorative sheet comprises a substrate layer; a pattern layer provided on the first front surface of the substrate layer; and a thermoplastic resin layer provided on the second front surface of the pattern layer. A test piece of 8 mm width from the decorative sheet is taken; the storage modulus is measured with an initial chuck distance of 10.77 mm, a start temperature of 30° C., an end temperature of 150° C., a temperature increase rate of 5° C./min, and a measurement frequency of 1.0 Hz. The ratio of the difference between the second storage modulus and a third storage modulus when the decorative sheet changes from the transition region to a rubbery flat region to the difference between a first storage modulus when the environmental temperature is 30° C. and a second storage modulus when the decorative sheet changes from a glassy region to a transition region is 3.5 or less.
DECORATIVE FILM, DECORATIVE MOLDED ARTICLE, DECORATIVE PANEL, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Provided are a decorative film including a base material and a reflective layer having a convex structure, in which, in a cross section obtained by cutting the convex structure in a direction perpendicular to a plane direction of the decorative film, in a case where a direction in which an average Φ.sub.AVE of positive tilt angles is a largest is defined as a first direction and a direction in which the average Φ.sub.AVE of the positive tilt angles is a smallest is defined as a second direction, the decorative film has a region A in which Φ.sub.AVE in the first direction is 3° or more and Φ.sub.AVE in the second direction is less than 3°; and applications thereof.
