METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRINTED DECORATIVE PAPER
The present invention relates to method for producing a printed decorative paper comprising the steps of: i) providing a substrate paper; ii) applying to said substrate paper a decorative layer; iii) applying to said decorative layer a liquid coating consisting essentially of a polymerizable mixture; iv) applying polymerization conditions to form a polymerized layer on said decorative layer. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a printed decorative paper, which decorative paper is processed to form a decorative panel, which decorative panel thus obtained will exhibit a good resistance against weather influences.
OPTICAL SWITCH DEVICES
A security device includes an array of lenses and a plurality of first and second segments disposed under the array of lenses. At a first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents a first image for viewing without presenting the second image for viewing, and at a second viewing angle different from the first viewing angle, the array of lenses presents for viewing the second image without presenting the first image for viewing. At least one first or second segment can include one or more microstructures or one or more nanostructures configured to produce one or more colors for the first or second image.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEM PREPARED USING THE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
The invention is directed to an adhesive composition including at least one rubber component, a solvent, and at least one powdered superabsorber polymer. The invention also relates to a method for bonding a roofing membrane to a substrate using the adhesive composition as a contact adhesive, to fully adhered membrane roofing system, and to the use of adhesive composition for adhering roofing membranes to substrates by contact bonding.
PLASTIC SUBSTRATE WITH IMPROVED HARDNESS AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A plastic substrate includes: a plastic support member having light transmittance; and a first organic-inorganic hybrid layer on the plastic support member. The first organic-inorganic hybrid layer includes: a first organic-inorganic hybrid matrix; and ions implanted into the first organic-inorganic hybrid matrix at a side opposite to a side adjacent the plastic support member. An amount of the ions per unit area is in a range from about 2×10.sup.13/cm.sup.2 to about 2×10.sup.14/cm.sup.2.
MULTI-LAYER FILM
A multi-layer film includes a first-seal layer and a second-seal layer. The multi-layer film may be used to form a package for consumer-care products.
Cap liner comprising a sintered fluoropolymer layer
In an aspect, a cap liner comprises a sintered fluoropolymer layer; and a backing layer; wherein the sintered fluoropolymer layer is in direct physical contact with the backing layer with no intervening layer located there between. In another aspect, a method of forming the cap liner of comprises plasma etching the sintered fluoropolymer layer to form a sintered plasma etched layer; and laminating the sintered plasma etched layer and the backing layer to form the cap liner.
