A mat and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The mat includes a first foam layer, a second foam layer and a third foam layer. The first foam layer has a first hardness and a first porosity. The second foam layer is connected with the first foam layer and has a second hardness and a second porosity larger than the first porosity. The third foam layer is connected with the second foam layer and has a third hardness and a third porosity smaller than the first porosity. The second foam layer includes a first connecting surface facing the first foam layer and a second connecting surface facing the third foam layer. The contact area between the first connecting surface and the first foam layer is different from the contact area between the second connecting surface and the third foam layer.

A self-supporting film (10) comprises a gas barrier layer (20); a semi-permeable layer (40); and an indicator material (30), preferably a colorimetric indicator material, is provided between the gas barrier layer (20) and the semi-permeable layer (40). The indicator material (30) is in direct contact with the gas barrier layer (20). The film (10) is particularly useful as an item of packaging, particularly in packaging for perishable materials.

The present invention is a pet training pad apparatus suitable for excrement training for dichromatic animals. The pet training pad apparatus comprises a pad body and a visually stimulating indicium. The pad body comprises an excretion surface, an absorbent layer, and an impermeable layer. The visually stimulating indicium comprises at least one dichromatic vision detecting element. The absorbent layer is connected between the excretion surface and the impermeable layer. The visually stimulating indicium is connected along the excretion surface, opposite to the impermeable layer. The at least one dichromatic vision detecting element is distributed about the visually stimulating indicium, where the at least one dichromatic vision detecting element is configured to visually attract animals with dichromatic vision.

A method of using a sterilization wrap system including a permeable material having barrier properties and having a first surface and a second opposing surface, the exterior panel being substantially opaque or having a first level of translucence, and an interior panel including a permeable material having barrier properties and having a first surface and a second opposing surface, the interior panel having a level of translucence that is higher than the translucence of the exterior panel, the panels being joined together over at least a portion of their surfaces. A shield that is attachable to a touch sensitive screen is disclosed. The shield may be attached to the touch sensitive screen only at its outer peripheral portion. An air gap is enclosed between the shield and the touch sensitive screen to form a planar air bearing. The shield preferably does not touch the active area of the touch sensitive screen when the user is not touching the shield but only viewing the touch sensitive screen through the shield.
