A surface piece of crossing threads (12, 14) comprising plastic filaments, which as a woven fabric web (10) is equipped with two mutually opposing surfaces and with openings (16) formed therein. The fabric web comprises a metallisation applied on one side as a surface layer and between 15 and 80%, in particular between 20 and 70% of the fabric web is configured in the form of network intermediate spaces (16).

A nonwoven web for use in an absorbent article is described. The nonwoven web has first and second nonwoven layers. The first nonwoven layer has a first plurality of fibers, an additive disposed, at least in part, on a portion of the first plurality of fibers, a first side and an opposing second side, wherein second side has a plurality of discontinuities. The second nonwoven layer has a second plurality of fibers, a first surface and an opposing second surface, and a plurality of tufts extending through at least a portion of the discontinuities in the first nonwoven layer, wherein the second nonwoven layer is attached to the first nonwoven layer such that at least a portion of the second plurality of fibers are in liquid communication with the first nonwoven layer, wherein the first nonwoven layer is hydrophobic and the second nonwoven layer is hydrophilic.

A garment assembly such as a uniform, a military uniform and a military combat uniform is presented. The garment assembly includes a helmet or head cover being cut from a fabric having a first camouflage pattern with a first set of intermixed colored blotches thereon. The uniform also includes a coat being configured to fit at least a portion of a human torso and a trouser configured to fit at least a portion of human legs, the coat and trouser each being cut from a fabric having a second camouflage pattern with a second set of intermixed colored blotches thereon, the colors of the second set of intermixed colored blotches being selected from a second group of colors comprising an Olive 527 color, a Dark Green 528 color, a Light Sage 560 color, a Tan 525 color, a Brown 529 color, a Bark Brown 561 color and a Dark Cream 559 color.

The invention relates to opaque colored multilayer articles having a substrate layer based on polycarbonate or polymethylmethacrylate. The compositions of the substrate layer contain a titanium dioxide having particular properties as white pigment. Compared to the Kronos® 2230 white pigment which is conventionally used as white pigment for corresponding compositions and has more particularly been specially matched to polycarbonate, it is possible to achieve considerably higher weathering stability of the colored shaped bodies provided that a UV absorber-containing coating has been applied to the substrate layer. Color stability and gloss are maintained even after weathering, and brilliant colors can thus be assured.

A product, system, and method for creating a film capable of allowing a user to create a custom graphical representation is described, which may allow a user to create a custom graphical representation in a film by depressing select areas of the film to form the custom graphical representation.

The present invention relates to an edge profile for a sheet-like material including a layered structure with a main body made of plastic which has a first base colour tone, with a decorative base material which has a second base colour tone, and with a decorative print. A final decoration which has a third base colour tone is formed at least from decorative base material and decorative print together. The decorative base material is a layer arranged between main body and decorative print. For easier production, the invention proposes that the decorative base layer is a layer of plastic co-extruded with the main body. The invention also relates to a sheet-like material with a corresponding edge profile.

[Problems] Provided is a discoloring body which is discolored by application of water and has high glossiness and is excellent in applicability to various fields such as a toy field, a decoration field, and a design field.

[Solution] A discoloring body including a supporting body, a porous layer in which a low refractive index pigment is fixed in a dispersed state by way of a binder resin, and a glossy resin layer, in which an occupancy area ratio of the glossy resin layer is 1% to 95% with respect to a 1 cm square at any position in the porous layer.

A flexible multi-layered film with a printed deceptive image that mimics in the visual and infrared spectrum a landscape and/or an object. The image layer has an edge portion that has an irregularly cut pattern, that is lightened, and made transparent to blend into the surrounding environment and eliminate shadows. The image layer also has a variable concentration of a metal or high emissivity ink image and a color ink image. The film base layer is a thermal emitter and the intermediate layer has thermally conductive properties. The infrared radiation is partially transmitted through a metal ink image or emitted by a high emissivity ink image to provide a deceptive thermal signature.
