User-friendly tamper-resistant/tamper-evident container-seal system for containers of consumer goods and methods of use
11208238 · 2021-12-28 · ·

The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.

The modular flooring system can include a drop-zone platform module having a rubberized top surface layer and a subfloor construction designed to absorb and withstand the force impact of dropped weights onto the top surface layer. The subfloor construction of the drop-zone module can include an upper subfloor layer, an intermediate subfloor layer and a lower subfloor layer. The intermediate and lower subfloor layers can each including alternating panel sections with one panel section constructed from a foam-based material.

Power storage device packaging material and power storage device using the packaging material

A power storage device packaging material having a structure including at least a substrate layer, an adhesive layer, a metal foil layer, a sealant adhesive layer, and a sealant layer laminated in this order. The substrate layer is formed of a polyester film exhibiting ΔA, as expressed by the following formula, of 10% or more and a 50% elongation stress of 75 MPa or more after heat treatment at 160° C.: “ΔA=(break elongation after 160° C. heat treatment)−(break elongation before 160° C. heat treatment)”.

Tubular Liner for the Rehabilitation of a Sewer Pipe
20210388935 · 2021-12-16 ·

The invention relates to a tubular liner for the rehabilitation of an, in particular, underground sewer pipe, comprising at least an inner tubular film, a resin-carrier layer surrounding the inner tubular film, and comprising a mechanically protective outer film system. The outer film system comprises at least one outer film in the form of a UV-radiation- and short-wavelength, visible light-absorbing and/or -reflecting, single-layer or multi-layer film which contains, in one or more polymer layers, at least one short-wavelength, visible light-absorbing and/or—reflecting, organic or inorganic color pigment or a corresponding dye, and at least one organic or inorganic compound which absorbs and/or reflects the UV radiation. Moreover, the outer film system comprises at least one mechanically stable reinforcing web which rests on the aforementioned outer film. The outer film system has a transmittance for visible light at at least one wavelength in the range of 550 nm to 800 nm of at least 1%. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such an outer film system and to such an outer film system itself.
