Aerographics and denier differential zoned garments
The present disclosure relates to a multi-layered design for an article of apparel such as swimwear. In particular, at least one layer may include a stretch resistant matrix made of a thermoplastic polymer, a silicone or other similar material to provide additional support and modesty to certain areas of the apparel, such as the bust area. Further, a method of manufacturing the article of apparel is also disclosed. According to aspects described herein, the layers may be integrated using techniques to increase the overall integrity of the apparel.
PRE-PASTED WALL COVER AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A wall covering comprising a planar substrate having a front and a back facing opposite the front and an adhesive layer that covers the back of the substrate. The adhesive layer includes a separate polymer layer, formed by a polyvinyl alcohol polymer. Wall covering for example in the form of a pre-pasted paper is readily reactivated when wet, and exhibits no blocking, while having properties of sliding, adhesion, and stripability.
Dissolvable thermal direct adhesive label and methods of assembly and use of the same
A label assembly including one or more dissolvable thermal direct adhesive labels and methods of assembly and use. According to one embodiment, each label includes a base layer, a thermal direct layer, an adhesive layer, and a barrier layer. The base layer, which has an upper surface and a lower surface, is water-dissolvable and may be made of a water-dissolvable paper. The thermal direct layer is positioned directly over the upper surface of the base layer and functions in the conventional manner to produce markings therein in response to heat. The adhesive layer is water-dissolvable and is positioned below the lower surface of the base layer. The barrier layer, which is positioned directly below the lower surface of the base layer and directly over the adhesive layer, serves to prevent migration of the adhesive layer through the base layer and into contact with the thermal direct layer.
BEAUTY SHEET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided are a cosmetic sheet including: a cosmetic layer configured in the form of a nanofiber web and melted by moisture by electrospinning a water-soluble polymer material and a functional material together; and a moisture retaining layer separably attached to the cosmetic layer and retaining the moisture of the cosmetic layer when wearing the cosmetic layer on the face and performing outdoor activities, to thus prevent moisture from drying out during the time the cosmetic layer is absorbed into the skin, when wearing the cosmetic sheet on the face and taking outdoor activities.
DRY COSMETIC SHEET
Provided is a dry cosmetic sheet including: a dry support formed of a mesh, the mesh being made of a woven silver yarn; and a dry membrane laminated on the support, the dry membrane being capable of being attached to a users skin, and the dry membrane being formed of a fiber web, the fiber web being formed of accumulated electrospun fibers, each of the electrospun fibers being formed of a single homogeneous mixture containing a water-soluble polymer, a water-insoluble polymer, and a functional material for skin care in a dry state, the functional material being capable of releasing from the fiber by dissolution of the water-soluble polymer when the dry cosmetic sheet is moisturized. Each of the electrospun fibers has a homogenous distribution of the water-soluble polymer, the water-insoluble polymer, and the functional material.
NONWOVEN WATER DISPERSIBLE ARTICLE FOR UNIT DOSE PACKAGING
The disclosure provides a nonwoven web, said nonwoven web including a plurality of fibers including a blend of fiber forming materials, the blend of fiber forming materials including a first polyvinyl alcohol polymer. The blend of fiber forming materials further comprises a second polyvinyl alcohol polymer or does not include carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose or starch. The nonwoven web can be water-dispersible, optionally water-soluble, and/or flushable. The disclosure further provides a pouch including a nonwoven web including a plurality of fibers according to the disclosure. In some embodiments, the water dispersible pouch can include a laminate comprising a water-soluble film and a nonwoven web of the disclosure.
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited inorganic coating
Films including a water-soluble polymeric material and a vapor-deposited inorganic coating are disclosed. The water-soluble polymeric material may comprise polyvinyl alcohol. The vapor-deposited inorganic coating may include a metal oxide. The vapor-deposited inorganic coating may include a plurality of microfractures. The films may form part of a package and/or a water-soluble unit dose article.
MULTILAYER WATER-DISPERSIBLE ARTICLES
Disclosed herein are multilayer water-dispersible articles including a water-dispersible substrate layer having a thickness in a range of about 5 μm to about 10 mm, and a water-dispersible coating layer on the substrate layer, the coating layer having a thickness in a range of about 0.5 to about 250 μm, wherein water-dispersible article has a moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of about 20 g H.sub.2O/m.sup.2/day or less, such as 10 g H.sub.2O/m.sup.2/day or less.
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited organic coating
Films including a water-soluble layer and a vapor-deposited organic coating are disclosed. The films can optionally further include a vapor-deposited inorganic layer. The films exhibit enhanced barrier properties.
Water-soluble unit dose articles comprising enzyme
Described herein is a household care composition, which delivers active agents onto fabric, in the form of a water-soluble unit dose article comprising a water-soluble fibrous structure and a concentrated enzyme composition, as well as methods for making the article and methods for treating fabrics using the article.
