A dog grooming clamp. The dog grooming clamp has a base member, two parallel and opposing arms extending from either end of the base member, and a third arm with a threaded aperture that is perpendicularly attached to a first arm. A hollow channel extends along the entire length of the base member. A handle is pivotally attached to a second arm and designed to push a pin into the channel when rotated in a first direction, such that when a rope is positioned within the channel, the pin pushes the rope against the channel, locking it in place. The rope can be easily released by rotating the handle in an opposing direction. A threaded rod is inserted within the threaded aperture and is used to easily attach the dog grooming clamp to a pole.

Moreover, each of the extensions abuts surfaces on either side of a passage which has a width that is less that the overall width of the extensions and the housing. In this way the extensions inhibit an animal wearing the animal collar from being able to pass through the passage.

At least one wired or wirelessly coupled pressure sensitive mat is adapted to sense a presence of a person or an animal on the at least one pressure sensitive mat. The electrically actuated separable coupler is in a coupled state when the pressure sensitive mat senses the presence of the person standing on the mat. Or, when the person is no longer standing on the mat, the electrically actuated separable coupler separates. The electronic controls of the station can be programmed to provide a predetermined or selectable time delay in a range of about 0 to 2 seconds before causing the electrically actuate separable coupler to separate. An upgrade kit or modification kit for existing pet grooming stations is also described.

CORRECTIVE COLLAR UTILIZING GEOLOCATION TECHNOLOGY

The disclosed technology includes a pet collar that can be configured to determine its geolocational position and evaluate that position with respect to the geo-fence of a predetermined, geo-fenced safe zone. If the collar determines that its position is inside a safe zone but is near the geo-fence, the collar can be configured to provide a warning correction. If the collar determines that it is outside a predetermined safe zone, the collar can also be configured to provide a stronger correction to discourage the pet from continuing away from the safe zone. The collar can also be configured to guide the pet back to the safe zone such as by varying the strength and/or type of correction provided based at least in part on the distance of the collar from the geo-fence.
