The invention relates to a pet grooming restraint device comprised of a base and curved member, and further comprised of a pair of frame arms, a first curved member, a second curved member and a pin. The base can further be secured to a grooming table, wherein the curved members can be secured around the neck of a pet in order to secure the pet to the device. As a result, the pet cannot struggle or move during grooming. In differing embodiments, the curved members may have an adjustable clasp, an adjustable buckle, a prong and a plurality of continuous openings or magnets to allow the curved members to attach around the neck of a pet.

Livestock handling equipment characterized by a modular alley construction employing shared bows with hole-penetrated front and rear faces for fastening of elongated structural beams and coupling of side panels at both of said faces. The upper stage may have a length along the lower leg of the animal that is substantially greater than the length of the lower stage in the same direction. The animal trimming chute may be part of a smart hoof trimming system employing data from various sensors to assist a trimmer in providing improved care of animals. In one aspect, such care may require adjusting the position of the leg during treatment by releasing the lower stage while still securing the leg with the upper stage.

The mesh collar body allows air surrounding and within the collar to pass through the collar to provide cidal action, air purification, and self-disinfection. The collar can be fashioned into an elizabethan collar in which the mesh collar body has a truncated conical, flat, or other shape. The invention can also be provided as a truncated conical insert for a conventional elizabethan collar.

Systems and method for optical imaging of an animal include a body conforming animal mold, which is shaped and sized to hold an animal in an immobilized and geometrically defined position and a gantry, which can include multiple optical mirrors to provide for simultaneous imaging of multiple different views of an animal within a body conforming animal mold.
