Tubular for processing crops

A tubular for processing crops can include a body having an outer surface and protrusions extending outwardly from the outer surface. The protrusions can be arranged in bands that are spaced apart along the outer surface to define gaps therebetween that form grooves extending around a circumference of the body. Each band of protrusions can be positioned offset with respect to at least one adjacent band of protrusions such that the protrusions form a spiraling configuration around a longitudinal axis of the body.

CONCAVE WITH ADJUSTABLE OPENINGS

A concave section for a harvester is provided. The concave section includes a concave body having an upstream side, a downstream side, a leading end and a trailing end. The concave body defines an arcuate crop engagement face facing radially inwardly. A plurality of crop passage openings are defined through the arcuate crop engagement face. A cover is configured to at least partially cover at least some of the crop passage openings. The cover is carried by the concave body and is movable thereon between at least two different positions to adjust a degree of openness of at least some of the crop passage openings.

A kit provides multiple components to improve the threshing operation within an agricultural combine. The kit includes a unique concave design, open valley rasp bars, and restrictor plates. Application of the kit components allows more efficient threshing operations for large grains such as corn and, also, for small grains such as soybeans resulting in an increased capture and retention of seed from the threshing operation.

COMBINE HARVESTER AND THRESHING DRUM FOR A THRESHING DEVICE OF A COMBINE HARVESTER

A threshing drum and a combine using a threshing drum are disclosed. The threshing drum comprising a drum body and beater bars. The beater bars each have a beating edge which describes a circumferential circle about a center axis of the drum body, on which the particular beating edge rotates about the center axis in a beating radius during operation of the threshing drum. To improve a flow of harvested material while the flow is being transferred from a threshing device to a downstream separating device, a cutting ring is positioned centrally on the drum body, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the drum body, which rotates in the circumferential direction of the drum body. The cutting ring has at least one circumferential cutting edge which describes a circumferential circle whose cutting radius, measured with respect to the center axis, is greater than the beating radii of the beating edges.

Threshing spine

A harvesting machine that has a first rotor rotationally coupled to a chassis, a second rotor rotationally coupled to the chassis, and a spine separating the first rotor from the second rotor. Wherein the spine has threshing inserts coupled thereto to facilitate threshing of crop processed by the first and second rotors.

COMBINE HARVESTER SEPARATION SYSTEM

Combine harvesters may include crop processing systems having a grate subassemblies with flaps that, in some instances, are divided into groups that are independently movable and moveable in opposite directions between a fully open position and a fully closed position. Further, each of the grate assemblies may include an actuator that is operable to actuate simultaneously a portion of the flaps on each of the grate assemblies.
