Combine with threshing chamber defined by distinct sequences of concaves
A combine for harvesting a harvested material that includes a grain, the combine comprising: a threshing chamber comprising a series of threshing and separating apparatuses, sequentially arranged, comprising at least: (i) a straight bar concave (ii) a first round bar concave, and (iii) a second round bar concave. The size of each of the straight bar throats is smaller than a size of the first openings, and the size of each of the first openings is smaller than the size of each of the second openings.
LATCH MECHANISM FOR AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER CONCAVES
An agricultural harvesting machine includes a chassis and a threshing system carried by the chassis. The threshing system includes a rotor, a frame assembly and at least one concave carried by the frame assembly. A latch mechanism supports and secures the concave relative to the frame assembly and includes a concave support bar, a clamping bar and a quick-connect, over center latch for tool-less operation.
Agricultural harvester concave adjustment system and method
An agricultural harvesting machine including a chassis, and a threshing section carried by the chassis. The threshing section includes a rotor, a plurality of frame assemblies adjustably positioned proximate to the rotor, a plurality of concaves and an adjustment mechanism. Each concave is carried by a corresponding frame assembly. The adjustment mechanism is coupled to the frame assemblies. The plurality of frame assemblies are X frame assemblies, with X being 2 or larger. The adjustment mechanism has at least one actuator, with there being Y actuators, with Y being 1 or larger. The adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust each of the X frame assemblies to different positions with Y actuators, where Y is less than X.
COVERS FOR AGRICULTURAL CONCAVES AND GRATES
A cover for a threshing concave or separator grate of a crop threshing assembly may include a first body portion. The first body portion may include a leading end, a trailing end opposite the leading end, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side. A first passage may be formed through the leading edge, and the passage may define a first axis that extends laterally between the first lateral side and the second lateral side. A notch may be formed in the first body portion and extend from the trailing edge end towards the leading end.

THRESHING BEDS AND CONCAVE FOR AN AGRICULTURAL COMBINE FORMED THEREWITH
A concave extends circumferentially about a portion of a rotor of a rotary processing unit of an agricultural combine. The concave has threshing beds forming openings therebetween for grain to pass through from a path of crop material between the concave and the rotor. The path of crop material has a flow direction relative to the concave in response to rotation of the rotor in a threshing direction. Each threshing bed includes a first extremity defining a threshing edge, a second extremity, and a separating grate extending across one of the openings between the first extremity and the second extremity, the first extremity overlapping the second extremity of an adjacent one of the threshing beds, locating the threshing edge in the path of crop material facing opposite to the flow direction. Each threshing bed extends from its threshing edge to its second extremity in the flow direction.
