Flexography printing
A flexographic printing plate includes at least one halftone printing area with a plurality of halftone dots. A halftone dot of said plurality of halftone dots is shaped as a relief area. Said relief area includes a central portion and a surrounding portion. Said central portion has a central dot floor with a first pattern of a plurality of pins protruding upwardly from the central dot floor. Said surrounding portion protrudes upwardly from the central dot floor and has a top side including a second pattern of a plurality of recesses. The first pattern and second pattern are such that the surrounding portion can be distinguished from the central portion.

ENGRAVED ROLLER FOR FLEXOGRAPHIC AND GRAVURE PRINTING
A roller for use with a printing apparatus to transfer a liquid to a plate or substrate is provided. The roller, also referred to as a cylinder, has an engraved surface with a linear cell-contained channel engraving pattern. The linear cell-contained channel engraving pattern has a linear channel at a channel engraved angle and a plurality of cells with pockets at a cell pocket positioned angle located within the linear channel. An engraving pattern and method of using the pattern to reduce spitting in printing processes are provided.

A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING FORM HAVING MICROCELL PATTERNS ON SURFACE
The present invention relates to a printing form for flexographic printing. The printing form contains microcell patterns on its relief printing surface. The presence of these microcell patterns allows for printing with a higher anilox roll volume. Also disclosed are five specific microcell patterns.
PHOTOSENSITIVE PRINTING FORM FOR A FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING METHOD COMPRISING VISIBLE AND NON-PRINTABLE INFORMATION, AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SUCH A PRINTING FORM
A photosensitive flexographic printing form, and process for manufacturing the same. The printing form includes a base, a first series of relief patterns having a first elevation with respect to the base in an image area of the base, and a second series of relief patterns having one or more elevations lower than the first elevation and located outside of the image area.
PRINTING BODY
According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a method of processing a printing body, the printing body comprising a substrate and a diamond-like carbon (DLC) layer on the substrate, the method comprising engraving a printing pattern into the DLC layer. This method is advantageous, as it reduces the number of process steps required in processing the printing body, and reduces the loss of fine detail in the printing pattern.
