A rotary sieve cleaning shoe having at least one rotary sieve, generally cylindrical and arranged to rotate around a longitudinal axis, and having an inner sieve and an outer sieve, each with holes, and one of the inner and outer sieves is longitudinally movable along the longitudinal axis relative to the other of the inner or outer sieve where the overlap between the holes varies such that the apparent size of a hole, corresponding to the overlap, through the rotary sieve is varied correspondingly.
Threshing grains and legumes utilizing concaves with adjustable openings
A kit and method of abrading grain provides multiple components to improve the threshing operation within an agricultural combine. The kit includes a unique concave design, open valley rasp bars, and restrictor plates. The method of abrading grain allows threshing operations for large grains such as corn and, also, for small grains such as soybeans. For example, the kit can be used to facilitate construction of a harvesting system that comprises: a drum of a rotary combine; a straight bar concave in a first position, wherein the straight bar concave utilizing intersecting bars, wherein at least some of said intersecting bars including a sharp leading edge, wherein the sharp leading edge abrades harvested materials and separate grain therefrom when the rotary drum rotates; and a plurality of round bar concaves in at least a second and a third position.
THRESHING GRAINS AND LEGUMES UTILIZING CONCAVES WITH ADJUSTABLE OPENINGS
A kit provides multiple components to improve the threshing operation within an agricultural combine. The kit includes a unique concave design, open valley rasp bars, and restrictor plates. Application of the kit components allows more efficient threshing operations for large grains such as corn and, also, for small grains such as soybeans resulting in an increased capture and retention of seed from the threshing operation.

A cleaning system for use in an agricultural combine harvester comprises a crop-processing platform and a rotatable finger. The crop-processing platform is arranged to receive crop material thereon and reciprocate in a fore-aft manner to process crop material. The finger auger extends laterally in proximity to the crop-processing platform and comprises flighting of fingers arranged to convey crop material laterally upon rotation of the finger auger.

A plastic filler for a cylinder conveyor, wherein the cylindrical conveyor includes a drum supported on a central shaft and defines a void therebetween, and wherein the plastic filler at least partially fills the void and thereby prevents the entry of contaminants into the void.

The separating grate extends along the length between the first end and the second end, is between the inner extremity and the outer extremity and includes grate openings and spaced-apart bars. The bars are between adjacent grate openings and include struts each connecting two adjacent parts of the separating grate between adjacent grate openings and severed bars each including bar segments extending inwardly toward one another to respective free ends on either side of a gap between adjacent grate openings.

The first open end portion supported by a first rotatable coupling point, and the second open end portion supported by a second rotatable coupling point. The threshing and separating system also includes a rotor configured to rotate within the non-stationary rotor cage to thresh harvested crop. The non-stationary rotor cage is configured to rotate about an axis extending between the first rotatable coupling point and the second rotatable coupling point, and to be rotationally driven by the rotor via the threshed harvested crop.
