APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATICALLY SEPARATING FINE-SIZED SEEDS
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for automatically separating fine-sized seeds including a hopper where a plant object for seed separation is introduced, a crushing separator disposed below the hopper, to crush the plant object being introduced from the hopper and physically separate the seeds from the plant object, a cyclone part that the seeds and non-seed plant objects, which are crushed and separated in the crushing separator, are introduced, and by cyclone flow, the heavy seeds sink whereas the light-weighted non-seed plant objects float inside, thereby separating the seeds from the rest of plant debris, and a strainer filter part that is mounted to a lower end of the cyclone part and passes the seeds through a strainer filter, thereby spatially separating the seeds from the rest of plant debris.
Grain Cleaning System for a Combine Harvester
A grain cleaning apparatus for a combine harvester has a linkage system for moving a grain pan or sieve with an oscillatory movement. A configuration of the linkage system is adjusted for example in dependence on a lateral inclination of the combine harvester, in particular by setting the position of a pair of arms of the linkage system, so that some points within the linkage system are fixed and other points are adjustable depending on the angle of inclination (but then remain static for a constant angle of inclination).
Closed loop combine cleaning fan control
A cleaning system of a combine harvester includes a fan, a first valve member positioned within a first duct of the fan for throttling the flow of air through the first duct, a second valve member positioned within the second duct of the fan for throttling the flow of air through the second duct, a first actuator for adjusting a position of the first valve member, a second actuator for adjusting a position of the second valve member, first and second sensors for sensing air pressure at first and second sieves, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive the sensed air pressures from the sensors, compare the sensed air pressures with either each other or threshold values, and transmit instructions to one or both of the actuators to adjust the positions of one or both of the valve members.
Cleaning System for Combine Harvester
A cleaning system for a combine harvester includes a sieve for capturing grain, and a magnetic propulsion system configured to move the sieve in a reciprocating motion with respect to a stationary housing of the combine harvester.
Agricultural harvester auger assembly with crop material deflecting cover
An agricultural harvester includes an auger assembly including an auger having an auger shaft defining an axis of rotation and a fighting carried by the auger shaft, the auger being configured to rotate the fighting in a sweeping path about the axis of rotation and convey cleaned crop material toward the crop material elevator; an auger trough placed adjacent to the auger to hold crop material in the sweeping path; and an auger cover held above the sweeping path that is configured to direct flung crop material toward the auger and/or the auger trough.
Air Deflector for a Combine Harvester Cleaning Assembly
A combine harvester includes a header assembly configured for collecting a crop, a threshing assembly coupled to the header assembly and configured for separating grains of the crop from material other than grain, and a cleaning assembly positioned in association with the threshing assembly and configured for separating the grains from chaff. The cleaning assembly includes a fan assembly having a fan housing with a fan output duct and a fan mounted to the fan housing, and one or more cleaning sieves. The fan assembly is configured to blow air across the one or more cleaning sieves via the fan output duct. The fan output duct includes at least one segmented air deflector.
Agricultural vehicle with belt unloader
An agricultural vehicle, includes a chassis; a cleaning system carried by the chassis including at least one sieve and configured to clean crop material; and an unloader carried by the chassis and supplied with cleaned crop material from the cleaning system. The unloader includes: a roller; a belt wrapped around the roller; and an oblong housing at least partially enclosing the belt.
MATERIAL CONVEYANCE SYSTEM IN A COMBINE HARVESTER
A combine harvester is provided with a conveyance system for transporting crop material discharged by overhead grain separating apparatus to a grain cleaning shoe. The conveyance system comprises a series of oscillating pans which move the grain in a generally longitudinal direction. A return pan conveys the collected material forwardly to a front discharge edge from where the material falls onto a stratification pan below. The stratification pan conveys the collected material rearwardly to a rear discharge edge from where the material falls into the grain cleaning shoe. At least one of the return pan and the stratification pan is non-rectangular and has a non-transverse discharge edge.
MONITORING SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER AND AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
A monitoring system for a combine harvester. The monitoring system includes a sensor configured to provide a measurement wave to a flow of crop residue on the harvester and to receive a response wave from the flow of crop residue. The monitoring system further includes a processor having an input terminal for receiving a response signal of the sensor representative of the response wave. The processor is configured to determine a crop parameter associated with the density of the flow of crop based on the response signal of the sensor. The processor further has an output terminal for outputting a density signal representing the crop parameter.
SIEVE ASSEMBLY FOR A CROP PROCESSING SYSTEM OF AN AGRICULTURAL HARVESTER
A sieve assembly for use within an agricultural harvester may generally include a sieve, a crop material sheet, and at least one support element. The sieve extends along a length defined between a first sieve end and a second sieve end and processes a flow of harvested crop material. The sieve also defines a plurality of openings through which cleaned crop material of the flow of crop material is directed. The crop material sheet extends along a length defined between a first sheet end and a second sheet end and receives the cleaned crop material directed through the sieve's openings. The crop material sheet then directs the flow of cleaned crop material towards a separate component of the crop processing system. In addition, the support element(s) is directly coupled between the sieve and the crop material sheet and structurally connects the sieve to the crop material sheet.
