In some examples, a screen printing unit includes a screen printing forme cylinder, an impression cylinder, and a frame including two frame side walls. The screen printing unit further includes first and second base modules, each comprising two stationary base side walls that each have a one-piece design. Each base module includes four installation areas for rotational transport bodies whose positions coincide in the base modules, and the respective first and second installation areas of each base module form a respective selection group of the base module. An impression cylinder cooperating with the screen printing forme cylinder is in one of the installation areas of the selection group of the first base module, and a respective rotational transport body is arranged in each of the four installation areas of the base modules. A functionally different rotational transport body is arranged in an installation area of the first base module.

A printing object surface has a cross-sectional shape curving along a printing advancing direction. The printing advancing direction is defined as a Y-axis, a direction orthogonal to the Y-axis and belonging to the cross-section is defined as a Z-axis, and a direction around an axis orthogonal to a Y-Z plane is defined as a -axis. A squeegee is disposed so as to be movable in the respective Y-, Z- and -axis directions. Information indicating a mutual relationship among respective Y-, Z- and -axis positions is obtained. The relationship is a relationship that enables performing printing while maintaining or substantially maintaining an angle formed by a direction tangent to a printing position in the printing object surface in the Y-Z plane and the squeegee. Printing is executed while the respective Y-, Z-, -axis positions of the squeegee relative to the printing object surface are controlled according to the obtained information.

Vertical double-sided rotary screen transfer printing apparatus

A vertical double-sided rotary screen transfer printing apparatus includes a vertical rack and one or more pair of rotary screen transfer printing assemblies horizontally disposed opposite to each other. Each rotary screen transfer printing assembly includes a rotary screen plate roller and a transfer roller arranged parallel to each other. The rotary screen plate roller transfers a pattern onto the transfer roller serving as a temporary transfer carrier. The transfer roller transfers the pattern onto a fabric passing in a vertical direction between the rotary screen transfer printing assemblies opposite to each other.
