VARIABLE TENSION AND/OR TRANSPORT SPEED RETRANSFER PRINTING PROCESS
Retransfer printing methods and systems are described where a variable stripping process is utilized while stripping all or a portion of the retransfer film (also known as intermediate transfer media) from the surface of a substrate. The variable stripping process includes stripping the retransfer film from different sections of the substrate surface while applying different tensions to the retransfer film and/or at different transport speeds of the retransfer film and the substrate.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRINTING A SECURITY CARD
The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for printing a security card. A security image is printed onto the receiving layer of a dye receptive reverse transfer film, which can then be applied to the card and bonded with the card. The printing of the security image occurs by transferring overcoat material from an overcoat panel of the dye carrying film onto the receiving layer of the dye receptive reverse transfer film in a pattern, which forms the visual security image. This process can be used in conjunction with the printing of a primary image by printing Yellow, Magenta, Cyan dyes and Black resin (YMCK) to the receiving layer in a reverse transfer printing method to provide a security card having a primary image and a security image. The security image printing may occur before or after the YMCK printing.

A foil stamping system includes a foil stamping apparatus capable of arranging and mounting a plurality of foil rolls about a direction orthogonal to a sheet feeding direction for forming a foil image by applying an adhesive on the sheet and stamping foil thereon, and a hardware processor, wherein the hardware processor includes: a foil roil information acquisitor that acquires foil roll information from the foil stamping apparatus; a job information acquisitor that receives and analyzes a job, and acquires job information; and an instructor that specifies a foil roll on the basis of the foil roll information and the job information transmits data for designating the region to be applied to the foil stamping apparatus, and instructs the foil stamping apparatus to perform foil stamping by the specified foil roll.
Method and system for gilding a substrate
The invention relates to a method for the gilding of a substrate with the application of pressure between the zones of the substrate to be gilded and a gilding sheet comprising a gilding film and a transfer layer, characterized by the consecutive treatment of the gilded substrate, allowing the adhesion performance of the gilding sheet in relation to the substrate to be optimized while improving the visual quality of the gilding deposit on the substrate.
Hot-stamping machine
A hot-stamping device (1) is described, having a stamping device (2) for transferring a transfer layer (15u) disposed on a carrier layer (15t) of a hot-stamping foil (15) onto a substrate (14). The hot-stamping device comprises a heatable stamping roller (11) and a counter-pressure roller (12), between which a stamping gap (16) is realized, in which a stamped substrate (17) is realized, and comprising a separating device (3), disposed downstream, for separating the carrier layer (15t) from the stamped substrate (17). The separating device (3) has a separating element (20), which is realized as a bar-shaped hollow body, disposed on which there is a supply for a compressed gas (21). At least one longitudinal edge of the separating element (20) is realized as a perforated separating edge (20k) having outflow openings (20a) for the compressed gas (22), for the purpose of realizing a gas cushion between the carrier layer (15t) and the separating element (20). The separating edge (20k) is disposed transversely in relation to the running direction and parallelwise in relation to the top side of the coated substrate (17).

There is provided a foil transferring apparatus, including: a housing having a receiver to receive a film cartridge, and an opening, the film cartridge being configured to be attached to and detached from the receiver through the opening, the film cartridge including a supplying reel to which a foil film having foil is wound; a winding reel, and a memory storing information indicating a type of the foil film; a transferring part configured to transfer the foil to a sheet by heating the foil film and the sheet in a state that the foil film and the sheet are overlapped with each other; and a controller configured to change an amount of heat to be applied per unit area of the foil film from the transferring part based on the information indicating the type of the foil film obtained from the memory.
Apparatus for transferring, fixing and polishing images printed on plastic or metal surfaces of three-dimensional objects
The object of this invention is to transfer, fix and polish images produced by: toner laser printers or inkjet printers, flexographic technology, silkscreen technology, offset technology, printed on reel support (A), on the plastic or metal surface of three-dimensional objects (16), thanks to which it is possible to detach images from the reel support (A) and subsequently transfer them to the surface of said plastic or metal objects (16) by a thermomechanical (1, 10) action.
DEVICE FOR HOT-FOIL STAMPING
A device for hot-foil stamping on printing materials includes a heated stamping cylinder, a counterpressure cylinder, and a device for providing stamping foil. The device for providing stamping foil guides the stamping foil between the stamping cylinder and the counterpressure cylinder in a direction tangential to the cylinders. The device for providing stamping foil has an adjustable guide element that is disposed downstream of the stamping cylinder and of the counterpressure cylinder for guiding the stamping foil. The hot-foil stamping device advantageously allows the stamping quality to be optimized.
Multi-station non-stop printing processing system and processing technique
The invention relates to a non-stop printing processing system with a plurality of stations, comprising a first processing unit and second processing unit; each of the processing units comprises a set of film supply devices, a pressure roller, a stripped roller and a cured device; the pressure roller, the stripped roller and the cured device are mounted by a lift type; the system comprises an impression barrel, when a substrate is processed, the impression barrel is positioned under the substrate, a processed substrate is positioned between a processing unit processing the substrate and the impression barrel. The invention also relates to a non-stop printing process with a plurality of stations. The invention utilizes one or more film supply devices of a processing device to alternately supply a film to achieve the effect of automatic roll change and simulation positioning.
