The system further comprises at least one separation wall (71), configured to keep separate a hot zone, in which the oven (12) is active and the hooking/unhooking components (50) are provided, from a cold zone in which the oven (12) is not working and the at least one the catenary (18) and the at least one suction unit (14) are provided. Moreover, the system comprises a handling device (25) configured to move transversely to the inlet mouth (21) and to the outlet mouth (23) of the oven (12) the at least one suction unit (14), the at least one catenary (18) turd the plurality of hooking/unhooking components (50) so that the separation wall (71) keeps separate the hot zone from the cold zone according to the dimensions of objects (8) wrapped by the transfer supports (2). The invention also concerns a method for realizing the system.
Device and a method for clampingly positioning a heat transfer sheet around a substrate
A method and a device for clampingly holding against a substrate (8), for example a drinking cup, a heat transfer sheet (5) using a clamping sheet (2), comprising providing a device (1) with a substrate holder (10) for clampingly holding the substrate (8); providing a clamping sheet (2) with a width and a length, length being measured between longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2), and wherein at the longitudinal ends of the clamping sheet (2) coupling means (3) are provided; and positioning in catch means (4) of a positioning device the coupling means (3) for keeping the clamping sheet (2) in a first position.
High Density Pick and Sequential Place Transfer Process and Tool
Mass transfer tools and methods for high density transfer of arrays of micro devices are described. In an embodiment, a mass transfer tool includes a micro pick up array with an array of transfer heads arranged in clusters. The clusters of transfer heads can be used to pick up a high density group of micro devices followed by sequential placement onto a receiving substrate.
Powder build material handling
Disclosed is a powder build material handling system for a three-dimensional printer. The system comprises a delivery system. The delivery system is to carry powder build material in a flow of gas from a powder build material supply. The delivery system is to filter the flow of gas to separate the powder build material from the flow of gas. The delivery system is to direct the filtered flow of gas to the powder build material supply to form a closed system.
METHOD FOR APPLYING TRANSFER MATERIALS ONTO THREE-DIMENSIONAL ARTICLES
Apparatuses and methods for applying a transfer material onto the surface of an article are disclosed, including methods of transfer printing on and/or decorating three-dimensional articles, as well as the articles printed and/or decorated thereby. Three-dimensional articles have a surface having two or more portions that each have a radius of curvature that are at least partially separated by an intermediate portion that has a lesser radius of curvature. The transfer material may be pre-formed and transferred to the surface of the articles and may extend continuously across at least parts of the two portions and the intermediate portion.
HOT STAMPING FOR DECORATING A PART OF A VEHICLE BODY
The device for hot stamping a part of a vehicle body is provided. The device includes a strip including a carrier film and a decorative film; at least one motorized arm capable of moving; at least one head mounted movably in rotation on one end of the arm, the head comprising pressure means capable of applying pressure on the strip; and means for unwinding the strip in front of the head.
WARP TRANSFERRING MACHINE
A warp transferring machine includes a color transferring unit, a colored paper unit and a yarn arranging unit. The color transferring unit includes a heating roller, a driving shaft, a separable shaft, a supporting shaft that are rotatable about their respective axes and a pressing belt that is looped therearound to circulate continuously. The colored paper unit and the yarn arranging unit respectively guide a colored paper and a yarn toward the heating roller such that the pressing belt presses thereagainst so as to transfer colors of the colored paper onto the yarn.
METHOD OF APPLYING INDICIA ONTO A SURFACE OF A PLASTIC ARTICLE
Methods, apparatus and system for decorating plastic articles having an uneven surface or hollow structure are disclosed. An assembly comprising a transfer pad and a flexible heat transfer die comprising a thermal interface material (TIM) replace the hard rubber die in a hot-stamping process to fuse indicia into the surface. The assembly modifies ordinary pad printing into a hot-stamping process that transfers indicia onto uneven surfaces. A pad printing machine or other robotics is used to move the assembly from a position of heating to a position of compressing the ink transfer to the surface of the article.
Vacuum decoration of a drinking or eating vessel
The present invention relates to a method for decorating a drinking or eating vessel, the method comprising: a. providing: i. a drinking or eating vessel, wherein the vessel comprises an inner surface that defines a volume for receiving a liquid or a solid food and an outer surface comprising a polymeric coating; and ii. a transfer sheet, wherein the transfer sheet comprises a printed decoration; and iii. a supporting means comprising a recess for receiving the vessel; and b. arranging the vessel within the recess of the supporting means thereby defining a lower portion of the outer surface of the vessel occluded from contact with the transfer sheet and an upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel for contacting the transfer sheet; and contacting the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel and the supporting means with the transfer sheet under at least a partial vacuum, wherein the printed decoration is transferred from the transfer sheet to the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel, and wherein the supporting means reduces stretching of the transfer sheet from the upper portion of the outer surface of the vessel to the lower portion of the outer surface of the vessel. Also described are associated uses, an apparatus, and drinking or eating vessels obtainable by the methods of the invention.
