A bale forming apparatus and a bale forming method form cylindrical bales. A bale forming chamber is surrounded by a bale forming mechanism. A bale is formed in this bale forming chamber. This bale is pushed onto a bale supporting construction. This bale supporting construction buffers the bale. A further bale is created in the bale forming chamber. One pushing member pushes the old bale from the bale forming chamber onto the bale supporting construction. This pushing member is connected with a holding device and performs a movement on a circular path for pushing the bale. The drive rotates the holding device around a rotating axis. A pivotal guiding member is pivoted into a guiding position and contributes to provide a bale forming chamber for the new bale.

The bottom section is movable with regard to a zero state position, and moves in a negative direction past the zero state position to control the density of the preformed bale and moves in a positive direction returning to the zero state position and beyond the zero state position to transfer the preformed bale into the second bale forming chamber. A method for forming a bale from a crop product in a round baler is described.

Method for unloading bales from a round baler onto a field

A method for unloading a first and a second bale from a round baler onto a field. The round baler includes a bale chamber and a bale holder. The method successively includes steps of: growing the second bale in the bale chamber, while the first bale is carried by the bale holder; unloading the first bale from the bale holder onto the field a period of time before finishing growing the second bale, the first bale defining a first position on the field; finishing growing the second bale; transporting the second bale to the bale holder; and unloading the second bale onto the field. The second bale defines a second position on the field. The period of time is determined such that a distance between the first position and the second position is smaller than a sum of the diameters of the first bale and second bale.

Continuous bale forming apparatus with a reciprocating bale pushing device

A bale forming apparatus and a bale forming method are provided. A bale is formed in a bale forming chamber. A bale pushing device pushes the bale away from an outlet onto a bale supporting construction. A guiding element is pivoted into a guiding position. The guiding element in the guiding position contributes to guide a bale forming mechanism such that a bale forming device a chamber is also provided when the bale is on the bale supporting construction. A new bale is formed in the provided bale forming chamber. The bale pushing device is pivoted around the pivoting axis in a pushing direction and backwards and performs a reciprocating movement. Pivoting the bale pushing device in the pushing direction causes the guiding element to be pushed and pivoted into the guiding position.
