BALE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A baler implement a tag installer operable to attach an RFID identification tag to a bale. A reader is positioned to interrogate the identification tag for receiving data from the identification tag. The reader is operable to emit an interrogation signal for interrogating the identification tag in accordance with a pre-defined timing sequence. The reader emits the interrogation signal regardless of a position of the bale in the baling chamber or on the baler implement. As such, the interrogation signal is emitted based on the pre-defined timing sequence. The pre-defined timing sequence may include a repeated on/off interrogation sequence, or continuously scanning interrogation sequence.
NET WRAP ROLL WITH LIFT HOOK LOCATION MARKINGS
A supply roll for a wrap system of a baler implement includes a core having a circumferential wall surface forming a cylindrical shape concentric with a central longitudinal axis. A wrap material includes a length wound about the circumferential wall surface of the core, and defines an exterior circumference. The core and the wrap material cooperate to define a combined center of gravity. An axial position identifier is disposed on the exterior circumference of the wrap material, and is positioned relative to the combined center of gravity to define a desired lift location.
BALE SHAPE MONITORING SYSTEM
A bale monitoring system includes an imaging device that is operable to capture a stereoscopic image of a bale. A computing compares the stereoscopic image of the bale to a three-dimensional standard to identify a deviation of the bale from the three-dimensional standard. The computing device may then assign the bale a shape quality score based on the deviation of the bale from the three-dimensional standard. The shape quality score may indicate a magnitude of the deviation of the bale from the three-dimensional standard. Additionally, the stereoscopic image may be analyzed to identify characteristics of the bale, such as a broken wrap material or an improperly formed bale.
BALING APPARATUS
A sensor arrangement located on a baler for detecting rotation of a dispensing reel of wrapping material and including a rotary element having a textured surface and a sensor mounted on a displaceable mounting bracket wherein the rotary element is rotated by the dispensing reel during baling.
Bale wrapping apparatus
A bale wrapping apparatus configurable between a single bale wrapping configuration and an inline bale wrapping configuration. The bale wrapping apparatus comprises a bale wrapping support assembly including support rollers spaced apart from one another to drive a bale in rotation along a rotation axis, when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the single bale wrapping configuration; and a longitudinal bale support configurable between an extended configuration where it extends above the support rollers and a retracted configuration where it extends away from the support rollers. The longitudinal bale support is positioned in the retracted configuration when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the single bale wrapping configuration and is configured in the extended configuration when the bale wrapping apparatus is configured in the inline bale wrapping configuration.
Baling apparatus
A binding material storage apparatus for a round baler having a rotary magazine for storage of a plurality of rolls of binding material, the rotary magazine being rotatable about a horizontal axis between a plurality of discrete positions, each discrete position being suitable for storage of a roll of a binding material and from which position the binding material may be dispensed. This allows an operator to have more than one kind of binding material ready for use, or multiple rolls of preferred kind of binding material ready for use.
Bale wrapping apparatus and a method for wrapping a bale made from a crop product
The application discloses a bale wrapping apparatus (100), comprising a wrapping table with bale rotating means (112, 122) to hold, control and rotate a bale for the application of a wrapping material, and dispenser means (300) configured to dispense the wrapping material from rolls, and a dispenser means rotational support (116) configured to rotate the dispensed wrapping material around a uniform and/or non-uniform bale of material around a central rotating axis, and a wrapping control system configured to power, control, adjust and/or regulate the dispensed wrapping material through the dispenser means (300) to a predefined stretch ratio within acceleration and/or deceleration zones within one or more 360 degree rotations of the dispenser means rotational support (116). Furthermore, the application discloses a method for wrapping a bale (200) made from a crop product by a bale wrapping apparatus (100).
Accumulator contents detection system for harvester
An accumulator contents detection system for a harvester includes an accumulator, a plurality of metering rollers, and at least one sensor. The accumulator accumulates crop material. The plurality of metering rollers receives crop material from the accumulator. The plurality of metering rollers includes a drive metering roller. The at least one sensor detects a load transmitted to the drive metering roller.
Baling apparatus
A sensor arrangement located on a baler for detecting rotation of a dispensing reel of wrapping material and including a rotary element having a textured surface and a sensor mounted on a displaceable mounting bracket wherein the rotary element is rotated by the dispensing reel during baling.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WRAPPING OPERATIONS
A method for controlling, through a mobile device, wrapping operations in a wrapper for wrapping a round bale with a film, comprises the following steps, performed by a processor of the mobile device: coupling the mobile device to a control unit of the wrapper, by sending a coupling signal to the control unit; receiving control inputs from a user, through an interaction of the user with the mobile device; elaborating the control inputs and generating, based on the control inputs, a command message; sending the command message to the control unit of the wrapper; receiving, at the processor of the mobile device, operation data from the control unit of the wrapper, the operation data being representative of operations performed by the wrapper.
