Animal-Wearable Audible Communication Apparatus
20220151206 · 2022-05-19 ·

An apparatus for enabling audible communication between an animal and a remote handler of the animal comprises a flexible strap configured to be worn by the animal, and a bone conduction transducer coupled to the flexible strap and capable of receiving a signal representing a message from the remote handler. The bone conduction transducer is configured to generate physical vibrations based on and representative of the signal representing the message from the remote handler. The bone conduction transducer is positioned or positionable on the flexible strap so that when the flexible strap is worn by the animal, the vibrations are conducted to a skeletal structure of the animal to enable the animal to audibly perceive the message from the remote handler.

External and internal monitoring of animal physiology and behavior

A method and system for the continuous monitoring of animal physiology and behavior through the use of a smart body worn animal harness, smart collar or restraint system which captures, pre-processes, monitors, and transmits data captured from a plurality of externally-based, skin contact-based, and internally located RFID implants to a cloud-based infrastructure for further processing and augmentation to support real time alerting and animal health analytical systems.

Corrective collar utilizing geolocation technology

The disclosed technology includes a pet collar that can be configured to determine its geolocational position and evaluate that position with respect to the geo-fence of a predetermined, geo-fenced “safe” zone. If the collar determines that its position is inside a safe zone but is near the geo-fence, the collar may be configured to provide a warning correction. If the collar determines that it is outside a predetermined safe zone, the collar can also be configured to provide a stronger correction to discourage the pet from continuing away from the safe zone. The collar may also be configured to guide the pet back to the safe zone such as by varying the strength and/or type of correction provided based at least in part on the distance of the collar from the geo-fence.

ANIMAL RESTRAINT
20220132806 · 2022-05-05 ·

An animal restraint is disclosed for mitigating collar trauma to critical neck structures of an animal. The animal restraint includes a track housing defining an exterior surface and an interior surface. A plurality of loops are positioned on the exterior surface of the track housing. A strap is threaded through the loops, and is adapted to slide around the exterior surface of the track housing from a pulling force on the animal restraint. The strap includes a leash attachment ring adapted for attachment to a leash. Impact resistant padding is attached to the interior surface of the track housing, and the sliding movement of the strap maintains a proper positioning of the impact resistant padding over corresponding anatomical neck structures of an animal.

An incorporated leash/collar is improved with the leash/collar strap. With a minimally stretchable strap, a buckle slides forms an adjustable collar with a first end of the strap. A metal buckle attached to the second end of the strap has a flat body with an opening. An adjustable position element has a post to engage the buckle body opening from either sides of the flat body. The first side engagement forms a leash handle loop in an operative configuration and the second side engagement maintain a wrap of the strap around the collar in a storage configuration. The incorporated leash/collar is also improved with a stretchable strap.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE ANIMAL HEALTH SENSING AND ANALYSIS
20230240533 · 2023-08-03 ·

A system that includes at least one processor and a non-transitory, tangible memory device having programming instructions. When the instructions are executed by the at least one processor, the at least one processor receives from a set of sensors at least one biological parameter of an animal in a walk-in analysis zone to create real-time biological. The at least one processor analyzes the real-time biological data from the walk-in analysis zone and recommends animal feed nutrients based on the analyzed real-time biological data. The at least one processor communicates the recommended animal feed nutrients to at least one of: a mobile communication device; and a display device in proximity to the walk-in analysis zone.

Animal Training Assembly
20230301273 · 2023-09-28 ·

An animal training assembly includes a belt that can be worn around a user's waist and a base unit is provided which is releasably attachable to the belt. The base unit broadcasts a location signal which corresponds to a predetermined distance from the base unit. A collar is provided which can be worn around a neck of an animal. A shock unit is coupled to the collar such that the shock unit is in electrical communication with the animal. The shock unit is in remote communication with the base unit such that the shock unit receives the location signal from the base unit. The shock unit delivers an electrical shock to the animal when the shock unit determines that the shock unit has moved beyond the predetermined distance from the base unit to persuade the animal to move closer to the user.

ANIMAL TRAINING DEVICE
20230301276 · 2023-09-28 ·

An animal training device removably connected to a collar of a pet, the animal training device including a main body, a speaker disposed on at least a portion of the main body to emit at least one voice command therefrom, and a microphone disposed on at least a portion of the main body to receive at least one audio input therein.

ANIMAL COLLAR
