The spacer component is secured to the device, wherein the first optical pathway element extends from an emitter, wherein the second optical pathway element extends from a detector. The emitter is configured to project light through the first optical pathway element toward skin tissue of an animal. The detector is configured to detect portions of the light reflected by the skin tissue back through the second optical pathway element. One or more applications running on at least one processor of the device is configured to use information of reflected light to determine a biological metric.
BONE CONDUCTION HEARING AID FOR CANINES
A restraint device for assisting hearing in an animal includes a first strap configured to encircle a thorax area of the animal and a bone conduction device for producing vibration near a bone in the thorax area of the animal. The bone conduction device includes a bone conduction transducer configured to generate vibrations in a frequency range perceivable by the animal, a processor configured to control the generation of vibrations by said bone conduction transducer, and a microphone configured to pick up ambient sounds and convert the picked up ambient sounds to electrical signals. The processor controls the bone conduction transducer to generate vibrations in a frequency range corresponding to the picked up ambient sounds.
Pet spray training system
An animal behavior modification device is provided. The device includes a sound, vibration or motion sensor that is configured to generate electrical signals in response to an occurrence. The device may include a filter, which is tuned to recognize a dog barking event, and generate an electrical signal in response to recognizing an input signal indicative of a dog's bark. The device further includes a canister that holds a deterrent fluid under pressure. The device additionally comprises a motor module configured to rotate a shaft in response to the electrical signal from the filter. The canister has a spray nozzle for releasing fluid that affects the dog's senses. In response to rotating the shaft, the spray nozzle is depressed. A method of modifying the behavior of an animal using the device is also provided herein.
Animal training method, apparatus, and system for achieving heeling behavior
An animal training system used to train an animal includes a movement controlling device and a wearable device. The movement controlling device includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment is coupled to a first connecting member. The second segment is coupled to a second connecting member. The wearable device includes a first attachment point and a second attachment point. The first attachment point is located at a midline position of the wearable device. The first segment is configured to detachably couple to the first attachment point via the first connecting member. The second segment is configured to detachably couple to the second attachment point via the second connecting member.
Holder for a smart monitoring tag for cows
The present invention provides a quick release monitoring tag holder attached to cow's neck by a collar, comprising a first slot and a second slot configured for accommodating said collar therein; and a recess, provided in between said slots, configured for accommodating an identification tag having an upper portion and relatively smaller bottom portion, which is at least partially accommodated within said recess.
DOG POCKET
A dog pocket adapted to attach to a collar or harness of a pet dog is disclosed. The dog pocket includes a first portion and a second portion attached to the first portion and defines a pocket therebetween to receive one or more articles, specifically to receive plastic bags containing the pet's excrement for storage during a walk. Further, the dog pocket includes a first strip and a second strip. The first strip is disposed proximate to a first longitudinal edge of the second portion and adapted to loop around the collar or harness to facilitate a removable attachment of the dog pocket with the collar or harness. The second strip is disposed proximate to a second longitudinal edge of the second portion and adapted to loop around the collar or harness to facilitate a removable attachment of the dog pocket with the collar or harness.
CROW REDUCING ROOSTER AND POULTRY COLLAR
A method for limiting the volume of a crow of a rooster includes providing a collar that includes a strip of flexible material. The collar includes a securing element disposed on the strip and configured to secure the collar at the neck of the rooster. The method includes placing the collar around the neck of the rooster such that the strip encircles the neck of the rooster. After placing the collar around the neck of the rooster, securing the collar at the neck of the rooster via the securing element at a position and at a tightness around the neck of the rooster such that expansion of the neck of the rooster for breathing is allowed and further expansion of the neck of the rooster for crowing is restricted by the collar.
COLLAR WITH INTEGRATED DEVICE ATTACHMENT
Disclosed is a mounting base (300) for attaching a portable electronic device (402) to a collar apparatus (400). Mounting base (300) includes a frame (102) and a latch (200). Latch (200) is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position. Latch (200) includes an actuator (206) with a button (208) that may be depressed by a user to manually move latch (200) between the latched and unlatched positions. A portable electronic device (402) includes an insertion portion (410) that is received in a receiving aperture (108) in the frame (102). Once the insertion portion (410) is inserted, the device (402) may be rotated manually to engage latch (200). During rotation, a lock stub (216) on latch (200) engages a corresponding feature on insertion portion (410), thereby preventing counter-rotation of device (402). Additionally, one or more tabs (120) on frame (102) interfere with corresponding structure on insertion portion (410) to secure device (402) onto mounting base (300).
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR ESTABLISHING KEEP OUT ZONES WITHIN WIRELESS CONTAINMENT REGIONS
A system comprising a first transmitter for transmitting a first signal at a first frequency and a second transmitter for transmitting a second signal at a second frequency. Pet tracking assembly
A pet tracking assembly includes a collar that is wearable around a neck of a pet. A light emitter is coupled to the collar to emit light outwardly from the collar when the light emitter is turned on. A monitoring unit is integrated into the collar and the monitoring unit is in wireless communication with a wireless internet router that is associated with the owner of the pet. The light emitter is turned on when the monitoring unit senses the signal from the wireless internet router has fallen below a pre-determined signal strength. Additionally, the monitoring unit broadcasts an alert to a personal electronic device when the monitoring unit senses the signal from the wireless internet router has fallen below the pre-determined signal strength. In this way the user is alerted that the pet has moved beyond the pre-determined distance from the wireless internet router.
