Dog collar and leash assembly
A collar and leash system is provided which allows for easy connection of the collar with the leash without the pet owner having to bend down to attach or detach the collar leash. The collar has a first attachment member thereon which is received by a second attachment member on the leash. A solenoid position within the second attachment member operates to open and close the second attachment member so as to selectively release, accept, or retain the first attachment member of the collar. In an embodiment, the leash has a first portion which is flexible and a second portion adjacent the second attachment member which is rigid or semirigid. Preferably, a switch in the handle of the leash serves to operate the solenoid in the second attachment member.
Animal collar with programmable modular electronic components
Disclosed modular animal collar systems include a D ring exoskeleton system, a breakaway latch tongue system and other systems. Disclosed collars include auto release systems to ensure that collars do not choke or otherwise injure a pet. Collars include sophisticated electronics to commutate with a pet owner's smart phone but also include means of communication not requiring the use of a smart phone. Collars may include a base collar containing a micro controller and other computer related components. Surrounding modular components may contain additional equipment and may be added as needed by a pet owner. Disclosed collar functions are executed by the disclosed collars and facilitate the retrieval, care and training of a pet.
INTERCHANGEABLE DOUBLE-SIDED ATTACHMENT FOR PET LEASH AND COLLAR
Provided in the disclosure are durable, and washable, double-sided pet collar attachments. These pet collar attachments can be removably attached to pet collars. Each side of the pet collar attachments can have different designs. In this manner, the pet collars can be provided with a multitude of designs.
PRONG TRAINING COLLAR
The present invention provides a dog collar comprising: a first strap, a plurality of prong elements carried by the first strap, a second strap, and two cam buckles secured to the second strap. The first strap is secureably connected to the second strap through the two cam buckles.
Leash attachment system for dog collar or harness
A dog leash attachment system for selectively and releasably attaching a dog leash to a dog collar or harness, wherein the dog leash and the dog collar or dog harness each comprises a portion of a fastener device further comprising at least one magnetic attachment component and at least one mechanical attachment component. One portion of the fastener device is attached in fixed relation to the dog leash at a position proximal to the distal end of the dog leash. Another magnet is disclosed for use in maintaining a portion of the fastener device proximally to the collar or harness when the leash is not in use.
Interlinking collar components and collar devices including the same
Collar devices including interlinking collar components that have a hollow portion and a securing portion connected by a flexible portion have increased strength and security. The number of collar components included in a collar device may be adjusted in order to properly fit a collar to a particular animal. Such collar devices generally include a plurality of interlinking collar components, as well as first and second loop attachment components, which couple to respective ends of interlinked collar components. A loop with a fastening element is then inserted into openings of the first and second loop attachment components.
Harness for animal
A harness for an animal, including a chest strap, an abdominal strap and a back strap; the chest strap is provided with a tightening member, the tightening member comprising a buckle, a tightening strap and a lead ring. The tightening strap passes through the buckle, two ends of the tightening strap are respectively connected to two sides of the chest strap, and the lead ring is connected to a middle of the tightening strap. The harness of the present invention can be effectively used to restrain an animal from rushing and relief the animal from excessive stress, and also to prevent an owner from being dragged by the animal.
Separable identification assembly
An identification assembly is provided having a tag assembly and a bracket assembly, the tag assembly comprising a front plate rotatably fixed to a tag body. In accordance with embodiments, the front plate has two identification surfaces and the tag body has one identification surface, and the tag assembly is configured to removably receive the bracket assembly.
LEASH SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FASTENING LEASH SYSTEMS
A leash system and methods for fastening a leash system for guiding an animal are provided. The leash system may include a collar having a first ring positioned towards an anterior portion of a torso of the animal, a leash strap having a first end, a second end, and a middle portion, the leash strap including a first clasp positioned at the first end of the leash strap for connecting to the first ring; and a second clasp positioned at the second end of the leash strap for connecting to the first ring, the leash strap extends around the torso, wrapping underneath a first leg of the animal, around the back of the animal, and underneath a second leg of the animal, and a leash extension having a second ring for receiving the middle portion of the leash strap between the first clasp and the second clasp.
Predator Deterring Vest
A collar is provided for protecting animals from neck bites from predators. The collar is formed of individual segments in pivoting engagements with each other and has a fastener to engage a first end to a second end of the collar.
