Ink jet recording method for recording pattern layer and white overlaying layer on longitudinal sheet
The present invention relates to an ink jet recording method for recording a white overlaying layer and a non-white pattern layer to a recording medium, printed matters obtained by the recording method, and systems for realizing the recording method thereof.
Printing apparatus and printing method
A printing apparatus has a conveyance roller configured to convey a sheet in a first direction, an encoder provided at the conveyance roller, a head having a plurality of nozzles aligned in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and being configured to jet liquid to the sheet which is conveyed in the first direction by the conveyance roller and a controller having a power circuit configured to apply voltage to the head for jetting the liquid. The controller is configured to: determine a jetting frequency for the head based on a signal outputted from the encoder; and change an output voltage of the power circuit depending on the determined jetting frequency.

Material displacement
According to some examples in the disclosure, a method may comprise providing a first stream of discrete volumes of material; and directing a pulsed laser beam at a first discrete volume of material in the first stream of discrete volumes of material so as to interact with the first discrete volume of material and thereby displace the first discrete volume away from the first stream. An apparatus and a system are also disclosed.
Pigment dispersal in an ink jet printer
In a continuous ink jet printer for use with pigmented ink, the entrance to the ink path (81), (35) from the interior of the ink tank (27) to the ink pump (31) is made up of a plurality of small inlet openings, which may be provided by nozzles 85 formed in a shroud 83 that fits around an ink filter (33) in the ink tank (27). The openings are provided at the bottom of the ink tank (27), close to the floor, and face parallel to the floor or at least partially towards it. If the ink pump (31) is driven in reverse, any ink in the ink path is driven at speed out through the inlet openings into the interior of the ink tank (27), followed by air. This tends to disperse pigment that may have settled to the bottom on the ink tank (27).
INKJET PRINTING SYSTEM HAVING DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLED MENISCUS PRESSURE
Inkjet printing systems and methods dynamically control meniscus pressure at a nozzle to more reliably deliver ink to a substrate. The systems and methods include inferring an angle of a longitudinal axis of a printhead relative to the vertical reference axis based on an orientation signal from an orientation sensor, determining a target feed fluid pressure upstream of the nozzle and a target recirculation fluid pressure downstream of the nozzle, thereby to maintain a target pressure differentiation across the nozzle based, at least in part, on the inferred angle of the longitudinal axis, and controlling a variable feed pump speed and a variable recirculation pump speed to obtain the target feed fluid pressure and the target recirculation fluid pressure.

An apparatus and a system are also disclosed.
