An image processing apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more memories, the one or more memories including one or more programs. The one or more programs cause the one or more processors (a) to acquire first shape data that represents a three-dimensional shape of unevenness, (b) to generate edge data for specifying a first area that corresponds to an edge of a convex portion and a second area that does not correspond to the edge of the convex potion in the unevenness, based on the first shape data, and (c) to generate, based on the edge data, data to form the first area and not the second area on a recording medium.

Inkjet printing apparatus and ink tank

An inkjet printing apparatus includes an ink tank that contains an ink to be supplied to a printing head that ejects the ink, the ink being injected from an ink bottle. The inkjet printing apparatus further includes an injection assistance member including a first passage and a second passage. The first passage is defined by a first upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and a first lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank. The second passage is defined by a second upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and projecting upward less than the first upper end portion and a second lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank and larger than the first lower end portion in terms of a distance from the bottom surface of the ink tank.

Printing apparatus

A transport section transports a continuous printing paper in a predetermined transport direction. A first print section ejects first ink to the printing paper. A second print section is provided in a downstream side of the first print section in the transport direction, and ejects second ink to the printing paper. An ink amount estimating section estimates an amount of ink ejected to the printing paper from before printing by the first print section to before printing by the second print section, based on print data. A deviation amount obtaining section obtains a deviation amount between a print position by the first print section and a print position by the second print section at least based on the estimated ink amount. A print control section controls the print position by the second print section based on the deviation amount.

Ink jet printing ink composition and ink jet printing method

An ink jet printing ink composition contains a pigment, colloidal silica, trimethylglycine, and water, and in which a content of the colloidal silica is lower than or equal to a content of the trimethylglycine.

A method for producing a printed product is provided. The method capable of producing the printed product is superior in a friction fastness and a texture. And, a printing system is also provided. The method includes a printing step in which an ink composition for inkjet, containing a colorant and a crosslinkable binder component, is inkjet-printed onto a textile good to obtain a print body; and a heat-treatment step in which, by heat-treatment of the print body with steam, the crosslinkable binder component is caused to melt or soften, and to crosslink to be a film, thereby fixing the colorant to fibers of the textile good. The printing system includes a printing apparatus and a heat-treatment equipment with which a print body after printing is heat-treated with steam.

An inkjet printer for preventing ink flow, color blurring and color mixing during multicolor printing when image formation is performed with aqueous ink on a web-shaped printing base material, and an inkjet printing method using the inkjet printer. The inkjet printer is configured to perform image formation by discharging aqueous ink to a web-shaped printing base material, and includes: a conveyance mechanism configured to continuously convey the web-shaped printing base material; a single-pass system inkjet head configured to discharge the aqueous ink to a surface of the web-shaped printing base material conveyed by the conveyance mechanism; and a surface pre-heating unit arranged on an upstream side of conveyance from the single-pass system inkjet head and configured to heat at least the surface of the web-shaped printing base material. Image formation is performed on the web-shaped printing base material heated by the surface pre-heating unit.
