INK DRYING DEVICE AND PRINTING SYSTEM
An ink drying device dries ink injected onto a recording medium. The ink drying device includes a main body including a counter plate facing the recording medium and including an inner space, and a heat generator located in the inner space of the main body to generate heat. The counter plate is provided with a plurality of discharge holes. The ink drying device further includes a heat diffusion layer provided on an outer surface of the counter plate that faces the recording medium.
Support structure adjustment
According to one example there is provided a method of adjusting a support structure. The method comprises obtaining a reference orientation of the support structure when the support structure is positioned in a reference position. The height of the support structure is adjusted to a predetermined position and the orientation of the support structure is adjusted such that the orientation of the support structure when in the predetermined position is substantially the same as the reference orientation.

METHOD OF PRINTING WITH AIR BLOWING ACROSS INKJET PRINTHEAD
An ink distribution assembly for distributing different inks from respective ink sources to a plurality of print chips which together define an inkjet printhead. The assembly includes: a longitudinal distribution molding having an ink duct for each of the different inks extending longitudinally therealong; an ink inlet port corresponding to each ink duct, each ink inlet port being in fluid communication with a respective ink source for delivering ink from each ink source to a respective one of the ink ducts; and a laminated ink distribution stack in fluid communication with the distribution molding for distributing ink from the ducts to the print chips.
Liquid discharging apparatus
The printing apparatus (liquid discharging apparatus) is provided with a support section that supports a medium, a discharge section that discharges ink on the medium supported on the support section, and a transport unit that transports the medium in a transport direction. The support section includes a support structure including a liquid permeable portion that supports the medium and allows ink to pass therethrough, and a liquid holding portion that holds ink that has passed through the liquid permeable portion.
