Printing device including printing part printing first scale and second scale on printing medium and cutting part cutting printed first scale and printed second scale
A printing device includes: a conveying part configured to convey a printing medium in a conveying direction; a printing part configured to print on the printing medium at a print timing; a cutting part provided downstream of the printing part in the conveying direction and configured to cut the printing medium, which has been conveyed by the conveying part, at a cut timing after the printing part prints on the printing medium; and the controller configured to print, by controlling the printing part, a first scale and a second scale on the printing medium. At least a portion of the printed first scale and at least a portion of the printed second scale are arranged at the same position in the conveying direction. The printed first scale and the printed second scale are arranged at different positions in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the conveying direction.
PRINTING DEVICE HAVING RECEIVING PORTION FOR SELECTIVELY RECEIVING ONE OF FIRST CASSETTE AND SECOND CASSETTE
A printing device includes: a housing; a print head extending in a first direction; a cassette receiving portion; and a movable cover. The cassette receiving portion is open in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The cassette receiving portion can selectively receive a first cassette or a second cassette whose size is greater than that of the first cassette. The movable cover is movable between a closed position and an open position for covering and exposing the cassette receiving portion in the second direction. The cassette receiving portion provides: a first cassette receiving portion for receiving the first cassette with the movable cover at the closed position; and a second cassette receiving portion for receiving the second cassette with the movable cover at the open position. A portion of the second cassette receiving portion is overlapped with the movable cover at the closed position in the first direction.
CUTTING DEVICE AND PRINTER
A cutting device, having a supporting base, a cutter section, a protrusive part, is provided. The supporting base has a first area, in which a tape is placeable, and a second area on a surface thereof The surface is formed of a resin coating layer in the first area alone between the first area and the second area. The cutter section has a blade and is movable to approach and separate from the surface. The protrusive part protrudes from the cutter section in a direction, toward which an edge of the blade points. When the cutter section approaches the surface of the supporting base, with the protrusive part contacting the surface of the supporting base in the second area, the blade cuts the tape located between the surface of the supporting base in the first area and the blade partly in a direction of thickness of the tape.
CUTTING DEVICE AND PRINTER
A cutting device, having a full-cutting assembly, a half-cutting assembly, and a cam, is provided. The full-cutting assembly includes a first cutting blade and a facing part to cut a tape fully through in a direction of thickness of the tape by rotating a first arm about a first shaft. The half-cutting assembly includes a second cutting blade and a supporting base to cut the tape partly in the direction of thickness by rotating a second arm about a second shaft. The cam is rotatable bidirectionally about a third shaft and has a cam face, on which a first pressing part to press the first arm and a second pressing part to press the second arm are arranged. A distance between the cam face and the second arm is smaller than or equal to a distance between the cam face and the first arm.
PRINTING DEVICE
Disclosed is a printing device including a main body portion including a body portion configured to provide an internal space in which recording paper for printing certain information thereon is transferred and an opening or closing portion configured to control opening or closing of the internal space, a printing portion configured to print the certain information on the recording paper transferred in the internal space, and a recording paper separation portion located on a downstream side of the printing portion and configured to cut or cut off and separate recording paper on which particular information is printed by the printing portion from the other recording paper. Here, the main body portion includes a protruding portion configured to prevent an adhesive attached to the surface opposite the adhesive surface from being accumulated by decreasing a contact area with the surface opposite the adhesive surface.
PRINTER DEVICE AND CUTTER DEVICE
According to one embodiment, there is provided a printer device which prints on an adhesive member including an adhesive material on one surface and includes a thermal head, a platen, a fixed blade, a movable blade, an operation unit, and a control unit. The thermal head prints on the adhesive member by generating heat. The platen is arranged to face the thermal head. The fixed blade is arranged at a position where a blade edge faces a conveyance path of the adhesive member conveyed between the thermal head and the platen. The movable blade is arranged at a position where a blade edge of the movable blade faces the blade edge of the fixed blade via the conveyance path and moved at a first speed to a position where the blade edge of the movable blade is brought into contact with the blade edge of the fixed blade. The operation unit receives a first operation for instructing to start cleaning the movable blade from an operator. The control unit moves the movable blade to a position where the blade edge of the movable blade is exposed above the conveyance path at a second speed slower than the first speed when the operation unit receives the first operation.
Printing device configured to accommodate cassette with portion of the cassette protruding out of housing
A printing device includes: a housing; a cassette receiving portion provided in the housing; and a print head provided at the cassette receiving portion. The cassette receiving portion is configured to detachably receive a cassette including a case in which an ink ribbon and a tape are provided. The print head extends in a first direction and is configured to be inserted in a head opening of the case upon attachment of the cassette to the cassette receiving portion. The print head is configured to perform printing to the tape via the ink ribbon. The cassette receiving portion is open in the first direction and in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. Upon attachment of the cassette to the cassette receiving portion, a portion of the cassette protrudes out of the housing in the second direction.
TAPE PRINTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING TAPE PRINTING DEVICE
A tape printing device includes a controller configured to control a feed motor such that, after printing is performed to n pieces of labels, when a label tape is cut between an n-th label and a (n+1)th label counted from a leading edge of the label tape in a first direction and the (n+1)th label is positioned at a print position at which printing is performed by a thermal head, the label tape is fed in a second direction until the (n+1)th label is displaced from the print position.
