Ribbon cassette, label printer, and installation method thereof
The present disclosure provides a ribbon cassette, label printer, and installation method thereof. The ribbon cassette includes a cassette housing. A print head clamping groove, a side wall, and a position hole located inside the side wall are disposed on the cassette housing. A ribbon cutting part is formed at a connection between the side wall and the print head clamping groove. A first clamping accommodation part, a second clamping accommodation part, and a third clamping accommodation part are disposed on a surface of the cassette housing. The first clamping accommodation part, the second clamping accommodation part, and the third clamping accommodation part are respectively matched with a first position column, a second position column, and a third position column of a label printer.

Disclosed is a printing device including a main body part including a body part configured to provide an internal space in which recording paper for printing certain information thereon is transferred and an opening or closing part configured to control opening or closing of the internal space, a printing part configured to print the certain information on the recording paper transferred in the internal space, and a recording paper separation part located on a downstream side of the printing part and configured to cut or cut off and separate recording paper on which particular information is printed by the printing part from the other recording paper. Here, the main body part includes a protruding part configured to prevent an adhesive attached to the surface opposite the adhesive surface from being accumulated by decreasing a contact area with the surface opposite the adhesive surface.

In a cutting device, a cutting blade is reciprocally movable within a movable range including a first retracted position away from a target to be cut and a cut complete position at which cutting of the target is to be completed. A memory is configured to store cutting data indicating the first retracted position. A controller is configured to perform controlling, in response to determining that the cutting blade has stopped at an intervening position between a cut start position at which cutting of the target is started and the cut complete position, a drive portion to move the cutting blade from the intervening position to a second retracted position positioned within the movable range and away from the target. The controller is configured to further perform updating the cutting data stored in the memory so as to indicate the second retracted position in place of the first retracted position.
Printing device having receiving portion for selectively receiving one of first cassette and second cassette
A printing device includes: a housing; a print head extending in a first direction; a cassette receiving portion; and a movable cover. The cassette receiving portion is open in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The cassette receiving portion can selectively receive a first cassette or a second cassette whose size is greater than that of the first cassette. The movable cover is movable between a closed position and an open position for covering and exposing the cassette receiving portion in the second direction. The cassette receiving portion provides: a first cassette receiving portion for receiving the first cassette with the movable cover at the closed position; and a second cassette receiving portion for receiving the second cassette with the movable cover at the open position. A portion of the second cassette receiving portion is overlapped with the movable cover at the closed position in the first direction.

A half cutter includes a cutting blade having a blade and a holder to which the blade is fixed, a blade receiving member having a blade receiving surface from and with which the blade is separated and comes into contact, and a spacer having at least one of a holder spacer arranged at the holder which is made of a material that is different from a material of the holder, is provided in the holder to protrude toward the blade receiving surface further than the blade, and generates a gap between the blade and the blade receiving surface and a blade receiving spacer arranged at the blade receiving surface which is made of a material different from a material of the blade receiving member, is provided to protrude from the blade receiving surface, and generates a gap between the blade and the blade receiving surface.
Printer
A printer includes a print head portion for printing on a label paper, a feeding portion for feeding the label paper, a cutter portion for cutting the label paper, and a controller for controlling operations of the print head portion, the feeding portion, and the cutter portion. The label paper includes a bent portion that is generated in a portion right after unrolled from a label roll and changes in accordance with a label roll diameter. The controller is configured to control the feeding portion to feed the label paper by a constant length set in advance with respect to a predetermined label roll diameter so that a cutting operation by the cutter portion is performed at a position past a bent portion generated when the label roll diameter is larger than the predetermined diameter if the feeding operation for the label paper meets a predetermined condition set in advance.
Printing unit and thermal printer
A printing unit includes a platen lock mechanism for switching between a locked state and an unlock state of the platen roller; and an urging member for urging the lock arm. The head unit has receiving grooves receiving the platen bearings through an opening. A lock arm presses the platen bearings when the operation lever is at the lock position, and is configured to allow disengagement of the platen bearings from the receiving groove through the opening by being swung from the lock position toward the unlock position side. The lock arm includes a pushing-up arm configured to push the platen bearings from the receiving groove toward the opening side along with movement of the operation lever from the lock position toward the unlock position. An urging member urges the lock arm toward the platen unit side.
PRINTER AND CUTTING DEVICE
A printer includes a driving roller to move a medium supported on a support table in a predetermined transportation direction, and pinch roller assemblies each including a pinch roller, a support to support the pinch roller to allow the pinch roller to contact, or to be spaced from, the driving roller, and an actuator provided upstream in the transportation direction with respect to the pinch roller. The actuator includes a contact portion contactable with the support, and an operation portion to press the contact portion to the support to move the pinch roller in a direction away from the driving roller.
