Cutter device and printing apparatus
A cutter device including a transport unit for transporting a medium, a round blade configured to move, while rotating, in a width direction intersecting a transport direction in which the medium is transported, a fixed blade provided along the width direction, and a controller configured to control driving of the transport unit and a movement in the width direction of the round blade, in which the controller is configured, when the medium is cut by causing the round blade to move to a first direction of the width direction, to cause the round blade to move to a second direction being a direction opposite to the first direction while causing the round blade to rotate without causing the medium to move in the transport direction.
Paper cutting device for kiosk printer and kiosk printer equipped with the same
The paper cutting device includes: a lower frame configured such that a platen roller and a thermal head are disposed on the top surface thereof and provide a paper movement path and a drive unit is contained therein; an upper frame configured to form the paper movement path in association with the lower frame, and to open the paper movement path; a fixed cutter configured to be disposed on the upper frame, and to cut the roll paper; a movable cutter configured to be disposed on the lower frame, to cut the roll paper, and to allow the roll paper to move; and a jam control unit configured to detect a jam of the roll paper, and to detect the opening of the paper movement path and lower the movable cutter.
Printing device having cutting unit for separating printing medium into first and second media, and accommodating unit for accommodating therein second medium
A printing device includes: a casing; a first accommodating unit accommodating therein a printing medium; an image recording unit; a cutting unit; a supporting unit; a second accommodating unit; a first conveying passage; and a second conveying passage branching from the first conveying passage. The image recording unit is configured to record an image on the printing medium. The cutting unit is configured to divide the printing medium into a first medium and a second medium. The supporting unit is configured to support the printing medium conveyed in a first direction. The printing medium accommodated in the first accommodating unit is conveyed to the supporting unit along the first conveying passage. The second accommodating unit is positioned upstream of the image recording unit in the first direction and configured to accommodate therein the second medium. The second medium is conveyed to the second accommodating unit along the second conveying passage.
Recording apparatus
A printer includes a feeding roller, a cleaning member, a holder, a main stacker, and a motor unit. The cleaning member cleans the feeding roller. The holder supports the feeding roller and is provided so as to be movable between a cleaning position and a retreat position. The main stacker moves the holder from the retreat position to the cleaning position. The motor unit is provided so as to be able to perform switching between driving of the feeding roller and driving of the main stacker. The motor unit rotates the feeding roller when the holder is positioned at the cleaning position.
Recording apparatus with a guide member
A recording apparatus includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a recording medium that is a long medium, a supporting part disposed opposite to the recording unit and configured to support the recording medium, a cutting part configured to cut the long medium into a single sheet medium, a guide member configured to guide the recording medium, a winding unit configured to wind up the long medium, and a medium housing unit configured to be detachable and house the single sheet medium. The guide member is displaceable to a first supporting position in which the guide member supports the recording medium being conveyed to the medium housing unit and a second supporting position in which the guide member supports the long medium being conveyed to the winding unit, the second supporting position being located above the first supporting position.
CUTTER UNIT AND PRINTER
A cutter unit configured to cut a recording sheet to be advanced toward a forward side in an advancing direction, includes: a fixed blade, which includes a fixed blade edge, and is provided on a first surface side of the recording sheet; a movable blade including: a movable blade edge opposed to the fixed blade edge in a cutting direction crossing the advancing direction; and a sliding surface, which is provided on a backward side in the advancing direction, and is configured to be slid on the fixed blade; and a rack holder capable of reciprocating along the cutting direction, the rack holder including: a movable blade holder configured to support the movable blade; and an urging member configured to urge the movable blade to the backward side in the advancing direction.
MEDIUM-CUTTING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING MEDIUM
A medium-cutting device includes a medium-conveyance section to convey a medium in a medium-conveyance direction, a cutter to cut the medium conveyed by the medium-conveyance section, and a pushing part to push up a piece of the medium that is cut from the medium with the cutter.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a conveying unit which conveys a printing medium in a conveying direction; a printing unit which prints an image on the printing medium conveyed by the conveying unit; a processing unit which includes a processing member and which executes a processing action for processing the printing medium by moving the processing member while causing the processing member to contact the printing medium; and a controller. The controller executes a processing process for causing the processing unit to execute the processing action with respect to the printing medium by moving the processing unit from a first position to a second position in an intersecting direction; a first conveying process for causing the conveying unit to convey a processed printing medium in the conveying direction; and a first moving process for moving the processing unit from the second position to the first position after the first conveying process.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD TO ADJUST AMOUNT OF SHEET MEDIUM BETWEEN UPSTREAM ROLLER AND DOWNSTREAM ROLLER IN CONVEYANCE DIRECTION
An image forming apparatus includes a controller that performs one or more times a first image forming process including performing image formation on a sheet medium, and conveying the sheet medium in a conveyance direction by rotating a first roller by a first number of rotations and rotating a second roller disposed downstream of the first roller in the conveyance direction by a second number of rotations smaller than the first number of rotations. When a count of times the first image forming process has been performed becomes a particular number of times, the controller performs a second image forming process including performing image formation on the sheet medium, and conveying the sheet medium by rotating the first roller by a third number of rotations smaller than the first number of rotations and rotating the second roller by the second number of rotations.
Cutting apparatus and printing apparatus
A cutting apparatus comprising: a cutting unit including a first blade member and a second blade member that cooperates with the first blade member in cutting an object, configured to cut the object by relatively moving the object and at least one of the first blade member and the second blade member to each other to cut the object; and a changing unit configured to change a pressing force between the first blade member and the second blade member during an operation of cutting the object; wherein the changing unit sets the pressing force during the initial cutting operation from a time when cutting of the object is started until the object has been cut by a predetermined length higher than the pressing force during the subsequent cutting operation.
