Baling chamber sensor
10338088 · 2019-07-02 · ·

A first and a second bale speed sensor are provided in a segment of the baling chamber of an agricultural baler. The first sensor is positioned at an upper part, while the second sensor is positioned at a lower part of the baling chamber. Respective outputs of said bale speed sensors being operationally connected to a controller which is adapted to adjust based on said outputs a synchronization between the periodically forming and pushing of a slice of crop material and the reciprocal movement of the plunger.

Block baling press

A block baling press has a bale chamber and a baling ram moveable in the bale chamber in an oscillating manner to compress bale material. An end face of the baling ram facing the bale material is divided into ram segments separated from one another by needle slots. At least a first needle slot is flanked by ram segments with a profiling transverse to the first needle slot. The profiling brings about a weaker compression of the bale material in an edge region of the ram segments adjacent to the first needle slot than in a region of the ram segments spaced apart from the first needle slot. Bales are obtained in which zones of high compression and low compression alternate across the width of the bale chamber. The bales are held together by twine placed around the zones having low compression.

Baling press for cotton gin trash and other biomass feedstock and methods of using the same

A baling press for baling cotton gin trash and other particulate biomass feedstock. The baling press includes an infeed chute assembly, a compression ram assembly, an extrusion chamber assembly, a strapping storage and dispensing assembly, and a strapping insertion assembly. Methods of producing a bale with the baling press and a bale generated by the baling press are also described.

Agricultural baler with density doors moved by dual acting fluid cylinders

A bale chamber includes: movable density doors; at least one fluid cylinder including a fluid chamber, a piston separating the fluid chamber into a piston side and a rod side, a cylinder rod coupled to the piston on the rod side and configured to move at least one of the density doors, a piston fluid port, and a rod fluid port; and a fluid supply circuit fluidly coupled to the fluid chamber and configured to supply working fluid to the fluid chamber, the fluid supply circuit including a fluid supply controller that is selectively switchable to a first fluid supply mode and a second fluid supply mode, the fluid supply circuit being configured to supply working fluid to only the piston side when in the first fluid supply mode and to supply working fluid to both the piston side and the rod side when in the second fluid supply mode.

Bale identification assembly for binding an identification tag to a bale of agricultural crop material

A bale identification assembly has a binding material with identification tags at spaced intervals is used by a knotter system to bind a formed bale. A read module with an antenna transmits interrogator signals and also receives authentication replies from identification tags. The bale identification assembly has a bale drop sensor with a paddle. As a completed bale passes through the discharge chute, the completed bale interacts with the paddle causing the bale drop sensor to activate. Activation of the bale drop sensor activates the antenna for a specified active cycle, and during its active cycle, the read module assigns any identification tag that is sensed to the completed bale that is leaving the discharge chute. A controller receives information from at least one crop sensor and/or bale sensor and associates the information about the completed bale with the identification tag on the completed bale.

Signal processing method of a bale chamber load signal
10292335 · 2019-05-21 · ·

A signal processing method of a baler system includes the steps of receiving a signal, determining a steady state level and relating the steady state level to a characteristic of a forming bale. A signal is received from at least one sensor associated with a bale chamber of the baler system and a steady state level is determined from the signal. The steady state level of the signal is related to a characteristic of the forming bale in the bale chamber.

CROPS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A crops management system includes an information outputting device disposed on a forming machine configured to form crops into a formed material having a predetermined shape and configured to output formed material information relating to the formed material, a wireless tag disposed on the formed material and configured to store identifying information of the formed material, and a management device having an obtaining part configured to obtain the identifying information of the formed material and the formed material information of the formed material, and a relating part configured to relate the formed material information to the identifying information obtained by the obtaining part.
