Agricultural baler
A baler including a feeder duct and a feeder operable within the feeder duct. The feeder includes a tine bar holding member having rotatably mounted thereon at least one tine bar having mounted thereon a set of tines. The tine bar is rotatable about its own axis relative to the tine bar holding member and is rotatable together with the tine bar holding member about an offset axis. The feeder further includes a sun gear co-axial with and rotatable about the offset axis relative to the tine bar holding member; a mechanical coupling the tine bar to the sun gear; and an adjustment system configured for active adjustment of the angular position of the sun gear about the offset axis as the tine bar is rotated about the offset axis.
Auxiliary Power System for an Agricultural Baler with Power Output Based on Plunger Duty Cycle
An agricultural baler includes a main bale chamber, and a plunger reciprocally movable within the main bale chamber through a compression stroke and a return stroke. The plunger has a duty cycle with a maximum power requirement, a minimum power requirement, and an average power requirement over the duty cycle. The baler further includes an auxiliary power system which is configured for transmitting power to the driveline to offset the duty cycle of the plunger and thereby establish a substantially constant power requirement at the driveline.
Agricultural Baler with Auxiliary Power System Powered By Movable Component(s) on the Baler
An agricultural baler includes a flywheel, a driveline associated with the flywheel and couplable with a power take-off (PTO) of a traction unit, and a movable component which is driven directly or indirectly by the driveline and movable in a linear and/or rotational manner. The baler further includes an auxiliary power system coupled with the movable component. The auxiliary power system is configured for receiving power from the movable component and storing the power.
BALER STUFFER SELECTIVELY OPERABLE TO PROVIDE PARTIAL STUFFING STROKES
An agricultural baler includes a baler chassis and a stuffer mechanism. The stuffer mechanism includes a fork and a motor. The fork is shiftably supported to move along a loading duct during each of a series of stuffing strokes. The fork is operable in a sweeping position, where the fork extends at least partly into the duct, to provide a full stuffing stroke by loading a charge of crop material from the loading duct into a baling chamber. The fork is shiftable by the motor from the sweeping position to a retracted position, where the fork is moved out of the duct. The fork is shiftable into the retracted position for at least part of a respective stuffing stroke where at least some of the charge of crop material in the loading duct is not loaded into the baling chamber.
Improved Accumulator Circuit for Towed Implements
An apparatus and a system directed to an improved hydraulic circuit for use on implements powered by separate motorized vehicle such as a tractor. The apparatus and system include an implement, such as a bale processing or stacking device, configured with wheels to be a towed vehicle, with the towed vehicle configured to be conveyed by a tow vehicle. Additionally, a hydraulic pump on the tow vehicle is coupled to one or more accumulators on the towed device to provide hydraulic power at varying rates as needed by one or more mechanical operations of the implement vehicle. A hydraulic circuit including check and block valves in concert with a pressure switch on the implement device obtains hydraulic power from the tow vehicle from a hydraulic pump located on the tow vehicle via one or more hydraulic transfer lines from the tow vehicle to the implement.
Agricultural Baler with Auxiliary Power System
An agricultural baler includes a chassis, a flywheel carried by the chassis, and a driveline associated with the flywheel and couplable with a power take-off (PTO) of a traction unit. The agricultural baler further includes an auxiliary power system coupled with the driveline. The auxiliary power system is configured for receiving power from the driveline, storing the power, and transmitting the stored power back to the driveline.
Square baler
A square baler having a baling chamber of which the side walls are movable by respective hydraulic cylinders. The supply of hydraulic fluid to and from the two hydraulic cylinders is effected by a common control circuit that ensures that the two sides walls are displaced in synchronism with one another by equal and opposite amounts.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEM
An agricultural baler includes a main bale chamber, a plunger reciprocally movable within the main bale chamber through a compression cycle, a flywheel associated with the movement of the plunger, and a driveline associated with the flywheel and couplable with a power take-off of a traction unit. The baler has an auxiliary power system coupled with the driveline. The auxiliary power system includes a power indicator providing an output signal representing a parameter associated with power usage during the compression cycle of the plunger, a power device for at least one of receiving power from and transferring power to the driveline, and an electrical processing circuit coupled with the power indicator and the power device. The electrical processing circuit is operable for receiving the output signal(s) and controlling operation of the power device, dependent upon the output signal(s).
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEM FOR POWERING VARIOUS FUNCTIONAL COMPONENTS ONBOARD THE BALER
An agricultural baler includes a chassis, a flywheel carried by the chassis, and a driveline associated with the flywheel and couplable with a PTO of a traction unit. The baler is characterized by an auxiliary power system coupled with the driveline. The auxiliary power system is configured for receiving power from the driveline, storing the power, and utilizing the stored power to power at least one functional component onboard the baler.
AUXILIARY POWER SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH FLYWHEEL START UP
An agricultural baler is characterized by an APS coupled with a driveline and configured for receiving power from the driveline, storing the power, and transmitting the stored power back to the driveline. An electrical processing circuit which is coupled with the APS is operable to control operation of the APS to rotate the flywheel upon start up of the baler.
