Lighted Animal Harness
Disclosed is a device for providing light to and around a companion or service animal. The device allows for the illumination of an area immediately surrounding the animal that is wearing said device. The device includes a harness which allows for the directed illumination of the area immediately surrounding the animal in order to allow both better visibility for the animal and for a handler. The harness is adjustable and positionable upon the animal to allow for optimal illumination at the discretion of the handler.
Three Point Control Harness
The canine three point control harness of the present invention comprises a foreleg crotch loop, that with appropriate tension from any one of three control points, applies pressure to the crotch pits of the dog's forelegs. A pair of shoulder straps support a connector ring disposed over the upper forechest of the dog which ring forms a forward control point that is connected to the foreleg crotch loop and, when attached to a leash, can apply pressure to the foreleg pits. Over the withers of the dog the shoulder straps are twisted together to form a handle, the rear portion of which is connected to that portion of the crotch loop which terminates over the withers and provides another control point for increasing the pressure on the foreleg pits. Lifting of either end of the twisted handle communicates tension to the crotch loop and consequent crotch pressure.
Dog Harness
A dog harness having an open prosternum loop and an open sternum loop that are angularly interconnected to form left and right inverted V shaped shoulder covering apexes where the apexes are selectively interconnected with a buckle that slidingly engages adjustable length web members attached to the apexes and which form a point of attachment for a leash.
Animal restraint
An animal restraint is disclosed for mitigating collar trauma to critical neck structures of an animal. The animal restraint includes a track housing defining an exterior surface and an interior surface. A plurality of loops are positioned on the exterior surface of the track housing. A strap is threaded through the loops, and is adapted to slide around the exterior surface of the track housing from a pulling force on the animal restraint. The strap includes a leash attachment ring adapted for attachment to a leash. Impact resistant padding is attached to the interior surface of the track housing, and the sliding movement of the strap maintains a proper positioning of the impact resistant padding over corresponding anatomical neck structures of an animal.
DOG HARNESS
A dog harness includes a harness body, having a front portion and a rear portion, first and second front straps, first and second rear straps, first and second coupling members, first and second leash straps and a connecting means, wherein the first leash strap loops through, the first coupling member such that the first leash strap is adapted to move relative to the first coupling member, wherein the second leash strap loops through the second coupling member such that the second leash strap is adapted to move relative to the second coupling member.
MULTIPLE VECTOR TENSION DISPLACEMENT SYSTEM
The present invention is directed to a multiple vector tension displacement system which adjusts to the size of a wearer, wherein the size adjustment allows for maximum tension displacement when in use.
Illuminated pet harness
An illuminating pet harness that includes a body section defining a selectively adjustable upper torso aperture, two selectively adjustable side apertures, having a chest portion of a padded material and an inner surface and an outer surface. Also, the invention includes a first light assembly and a second light assembly that each include a clip member selectively removably coupled to the outer surface of the body section and having a lighting element electrically coupled to a battery-powered power source. The lighting element on the first lighting is disposed on a light housing pivotably coupled to the clip member of the first light assembly and the outer surface of the body section. The first lighting element is also operably configured to be oriented with respect to the second lighting element to emit light at a substantially perpendicular angle θ therefrom.
Retractable leash locking assemblies, and systems and methods thereof
A system, comprising: an axle structure defining an axis of rotation; an engagement plate translatable between a first position and a second position in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation, the engagement plate comprising one or more tooth protrusions and one or more ramp recesses; a spool rotatably movable about the axle structure, the spool comprising one or more tooth recesses configured to mate with the one or more tooth protrusions of the engagement plate responsive to a movement of the engagement plate into the second position; and a release ring at least partially rotatable between a first release ring position and a second release ring position, the release ring comprising one or more ramps; wherein, responsive to a predetermined movement of an actuator, the release ring is causes the tooth protrusions of the engagement plate to disengage with the tooth recesses of the spool.
PET CONTAINMENT APPARATUS
The present invention is directed to a pet containment apparatus for a truck bed that connects to the corner bed anchors and contains an overhead connection for the pet(s) to allow for free movement of the pet(s) in the truck bed, while keeping the pet(s) from exiting the truck bed. The apparatus may be static or adjustable and allow for single or multiple pets to travel safely in the truck bed. The pet(s) will be tethered overhead to allow for free movement. In preferred embodiments, the various elements of the apparatus include a sturdy, metallic frame with adjustable connectors to fit various truck beds.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING RETRACTABLE LEASH ASSEMBLIES
A system, comprising a harness configured to be releasably attached to a portion of an animal; a retractable leash assembly comprising a first structural feature and a second structural feature; a receptacle coupled with the harness, the receptacle comprising a first structural feature a second structural feature; wherein the first structural feature of the retractable leash assembly is configured to be releasably mated with the first structural feature of the receptacle upon application of a force on the retractable leash assembly causing at least a portion of the retractable leash to move in a first direction; and wherein the second structural feature of the retractable leash assembly is configured to be releasably mated with the second structural feature of the receptacle upon application of a force on the retractable leash assembly causing at least a portion of the retractable leash to move in a second direction.
