A reversible pet harness includes a body portion having a first side and a second side and one or more straps coupled to the body portion and configured to secure the body portion to a chest/belly of a pet. An aperture defines an opening that extends through the body portion from the first side to the second side. A ring is positioned in the opening and a central strap extends across the opening and through a center of the ring to moveably couple the ring relative to the body portion. The opening and central strap are configured to allow the ring to extend outwardly at least primarily from the first side of the body portion in a first position and outwardly at least primarily from the second side of the body portion in a second position.

A reversible harness for an animal having a neck region and a waist region. The harness includes a chest piece, and a back piece having a back-side tethering strap. A leash connector is rotatably disposed on the tethering strap. The reversible harness further includes a first adjustable strap to secure the chest piece to the back piece about the neck region of the animal, and a second adjustable strap to secure the chest piece to the back piece about the waist region of the animal. The harness is adapted to fit a wide variety of sizes of animals. Additionally, owing to at least one top fabric portion and at the least one bottom fabric portion of the back piece, and a first chest-side fabric portion and a second chest-side fabric portion of the chest piece, the harness is reversible.

A reversible dog harness that includes a swiveling front D-ring that is operable and accessible regardless of whether the harness is positioned in a first reversible orientation or a second reversible orientation. For instance, the harness includes a body has a first side and a second side, the first and second sides being opposite one another. The first side is facing in an outward direction when the body is disposed in a first reversible orientation, whereas the second side is facing outward when the body is disposed in a second reversed orientation. A mounting member is attached to the body and defines a loop that extends beyond an adjacent edge of the body. A portion of the D-ring is be disposed within the loop such that the connector is disposed adjacent the edge and off of the body.

The biometric wearable for pets and animals includes a plurality of sensors and stimulators. The biometric wearable provides for detecting and notifying when stress and/or other anxiety-like symptoms are detected. The system then also provides for stimulation which may help in calming the animal or pet.

The present invention is a novel connecting link interconnecting the spaced apart forechest straps of an animal harness where the link includes an elongated elastic band whose terminal ends are slidingly attached to the respective forechest straps with a modified triglide slide and an elongated non-elastic band having a length greater than the length of the elastic band whose terminal ends are also slidingly attached to the respective forechest straps.

A pet harness with a weighted thermal insert is an apparatus that can be comfortably and securely worn by a pet to provide comfort and various therapeutic benefits. The apparatus may include a back-bracing pad, a neck-bracing strap, a girth-bracing band, and at least one weighted thermal insert. The back-bracing pad corresponds to the portion covering the pet's back. The neck-bracing strap secures the apparatus to the pet's neck to prevent the apparatus from getting loose around the pet's neck. The girth-bracing band keeps the back-bracing pad securely positioned against the pet's back while the pet is moving. The at least one weighted thermal insert helps regulate the temperature of the pet's body when the pet is exposed to different weather conditions. The at least one weighted thermal insert also weighs down the pet's body to calm the pet down and to prevent the pet from getting anxious.

An adaptive harness includes a neck girth loop and a torso girth loop. Each loop has lateral arcs on opposite sides of and extending in directions substantially parallel to a sagittal plane. Each of the lateral arcs has an adjustable length. The loops are connected to one another ventrally and dorsally. The harness further includes a tension force transfer path that extends circumferentially along the neck girth loop from a tension force redirector, or ring, on the neck girth loop in the sagittal plane through the lateral arcs of the neck girth loop. The harness further includes a tension force conduit, or strap, secured along the path. When a tension force is applied to the strap outwardly from the ring, such as the pulling of a leash attaching to a leash coupling on the strap, the lengths of the lateral arcs of the neck girth loop are shortened, resulting in a better fit of the harness to the subject.

An animal harness that includes a cargo receptacle having an interior volume to receive cargo (e.g., bagged solid dog waste). The harness is particularly suited for a small animal, such as a dog, and is adjustable at multiple points to comfortable fit essentially any size dog. The cargo receptacle is centered on the harness, so that when worn by an animal such as a dog, the cargo receptacle is on or above the withers or shoulder area of the animal. The cargo receptacle is attached to a base structure on the harness and can be released and removed from the harness.

An animal collar defining a cavity to enhance visibility of information and identification tags. The collar includes a strap having an attachment point positioned thereon. At least one receiver is defined by the strap. The receiver includes a cavity configured to receive and retain information tag.

A harness may include a number of straps that may be formed of stainless steel chain and/or other materials and one or more clasps. The clasps may include a barrel that defines an internal aperture and includes threads facing the internal aperture and a hook that includes a curved head end portion, a bent head end portion connected to the curved head end portion, a point connected to the bent head end portion, a tail end portion, a curved tail end portion connected to the tail end portion, and a base portion connecting the curved head end portion and the curved tail end portion. The curved head end portion may connect to the harness when the barrel is uncoupled from the hook and the barrel may couple to the hook by screwing onto the hook while the point travels along the threads.
