CUTTING LONGITUDINAL SWATHS GRAIN HARVESTING AND BALING COMBINE
A cutting longitudinal swaths grain harvesting and baling combine, includes a grain cutting and conveying system, a threshing and separation system, a grain cleaning apparatus, a grain collection and holding system, a straw compression and baling apparatus, a chassis travelling system, and a driving system; when the combine is harvesting grain in fields, the stalks are cut and conveyed to the threshing and separation system by the grain cutting and conveying system; the threshed and separated straw is compressed and baled by the straw compression and baling apparatus; the threshed and separated grain is cleaned by the grain cleaning apparatus; and the cleaned grain is conveyed by the grain collection and holding system to a grain storage bin. The combine can achieve harvesting of grain such as rice and wheat as well as compression and baling of threshed straw, having advantages of high working efficiency, stable performance, a simple process, and being time and labor saving.
Baling apparatus and method
Baling apparatus and method including a baling chamber having one or more splitting knives for dividing crop material picked up from a field to discharge divided bales simultaneously from the baling chamber to be received by an ejection chute structure which ejects the divided bales in spaced relation to each other as the baling apparatus is moved along the field. The spaced relation can be longitudinal by ejecting the divided bales at staggered time and/or can be laterally spaced by turning the bales in the ejection chute structure.
Strategic crop placement using a virtual trip line for a harvester and crop accumulator combination
A harvester and a crop accumulator combination. The harvester is configured to transfer a harvested crop to the crop accumulator. The crop accumulator comprises at least one actuator to selectively discharge the harvested crops onto a field. A GPS unit is configured with at least one virtual trip line. An ECU is in communication with the GPS unit. The ECU is configured to selectively command the actuator of the crop accumulator to discharge harvested crop onto the field when the ECU receives a signal from the GPS unit when at least one of the virtual trip line is being approached, the virtual trip line is being crossed, and the virtual trip line has been crossed.
VARIABLE RATE DISCHARGE SYSTEM FOR CROP ACCUMULATOR
A system for controlling the speed of harvested crop as it is discharged from a crop accumulator onto a field comprising a discharge mechanism for imparting a desired rearward travel speed to the harvested crop as it is being discharged from the crop accumulator and a speed measurement device for measuring forward travel speed of the crop accumulator. A processor is in communication with the discharge mechanism and the speed measurement device and is operable to adjust the discharge mechanism for imparting the desired rearward travel speed or the forward travel speed of the crop accumulator, to discharge harvested crop with a rearward travel speed that is substantially equal to the forward travel speed such that the harvested crop has a substantially net zero speed as it contacts the ground.
Tailgate motion adjustment system
The disclosure relates to a system for maintaining proper tension in the one or more fluidly movable belts during the tailgate closing process of a baling cycle. Sensors are used to obtain position data of the bale density system and tailgate system. This information is used by a controller, which then calculates if an adjustment to the speed of the tailgate is necessary to maintain proper tension in the movable belts.

Bale discharge
A bale discharge for an outlet of a baling chamber of an agricultural baler has a first segment and a second segment that are moveable between an extended operating position and a retracted transporting position, wherein a support structure is provided for supporting, in the retracted position, a component of the second segment, wherein the support structure includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion.
ALTERNATE PLANE DOUBLE BALER BALE EJECTION
An agricultural baler includes a bale chamber and a bale ejection system that includes a chute with a first half portion extending along a first bale axis and a second half portion extending along a second bale axis that is parallel and spaced apart from the first bale axis. The chute receives a first bale and a second bale in the first half portion and the second half portion, respectively. The bale ejection system includes a first ejection ramp aligned with the first half portion of the chute that discharges the first bale along the first bale axis and a second ejection ramp extending from the second half portion of the chute that guides the second bale from the second bale axis to the first bale axis such that the first bale and the second bale are discharged in a single line onto the ground surface of the field.
Strapping System for Agricultural Implement
An agricultural baler includes a baling chamber configured to receive a compressible material. The baler includes a plunger proximate a first end of the baling chamber and configured to move within the baling chamber to compress the compressible material into a bale. The baler also includes a rear door assembly having one or more rails positioned at a second end of the baling chamber, opposite the first end. The rear door assembly has a rear door with parallel tracks configured to receive and to guide a strap around the second end of the baling chamber to facilitate surrounding the bale with the strap. The rear door is slidingly coupled to the one or more rails and is configured to move along the one or more rails between a closed position and an open position.
