PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance belt that supports a medium, a carriage where a printing head is disposed for printing on a medium, and a gap adjusting unit that adjusts the gap between the conveyance belt and the printing head. The gap adjusting unit includes a gap adjusting motor, a power transmission unit including a rotation shaft that rotates with the driving force of the motor, a lifting unit, and a relative displacement mechanism. The lifting unit moves the carriage up and down with the rotational force of the rotation shaft transmitted by the power transmission unit. The relative displacement mechanism relatively displaces one of two members making up at least one of the power transmission unit or the lifting unit in the direction of allowing the upward displacement of the carriage with respect to the other that is in an operation stop state.
Head unit, head unit adjustment method, attaching/detaching jig and head unit exchange method
A head unit to be detachably arrayed in a predetermined array direction on a base member includes: an ink discharge head having a nozzle surface configured to discharge an ink; a head holder attachable to and detachable from the base member while holding the ink discharge head in a holding region; and a posture adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a posture of the nozzle surface with respect to the head holder by rotating the ink discharge head with respect to the head holder about an axis of rotation perpendicular to both a surface normal to the nozzle surface and the array direction in a state where the head holder is not attached to the base member.
Printing Apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus, including: a base; a thermal head including heating elements arranged in a first direction; a first engagement member; a second engagement member configured to engage with the first engagement member such that the thermal head pivotally moves, relative to the base, around a first axis extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction; a head holding member being slidable with respect to the base in a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction and holding the thermal head such that the heating elements face the third direction; a first magnetic member positioned on a first side in the first direction relative to the first engagement member; a second magnetic member positioned on the first side in the first direction relative to the second engagement member; and a head pressing member facing the head holding member from a first side in the third direction.
PRINTER AND CONTROL METHOD OF A PRINTER
Provided is a printer having: a carriage configured to carry and move a printhead; a camera attached to the carriage and configured to photograph an image printed by the printhead; an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust an installation position of the camera; and a processor configured to control to move the carriage to a position of a predetermined specific mark, photograph the specific mark by the camera, and based on a photographed image of the specific mark, adjust an installation position of the camera by the adjustment mechanism.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge head to discharge liquid, a head holder to hold the liquid discharge head, a sub-carriage to hold the head holder, and a carriage to hold the sub-carriage and which is movable in a main scanning direction. The carriage includes a reference extending along the main scanning direction that holds and positions the sub-carriage in the carriage. The head holder includes a rotation reference around which the head holder is rotatable with respect to the sub-carriage, and an angle adjuster to regulate a rotation and adjust an angle of the rotation of the head holder with respect to the sub-carriage.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus RIM which ejects liquid onto a medium includes a carriage which includes a control substrate which configures at least a part of a control unit which controls driving of the entire liquid ejecting apparatus, a plurality of ejecting units which eject the liquid, a plurality of driving substrates which are connected to the control substrate, connected to the plurality of ejecting units in one-to-one correspondence, and drives the ejecting unit, an ejecting unit-driving substrate accommodating unit which accommodates the ejecting unit and the driving substrate, and a control substrate accommodating unit which accommodates the control substrate, in which the plurality of driving substrates are connected to the control substrate.
Printing apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus including: a base; a thermal head; a first motor; a second motor; a head holding member holding the thermal head; a first pivoting member and a second pivoting member pivotally supported by the base; a guide rail extending in a second direction and connected to a first end of the first pivoting member on a first side in a first direction and to a second end of the second pivoting member on the first side in the first direction; a head pressing member which is in contact with the guide rail to be slidable in the second direction and facing the thermal head from a first side in a third direction; and a movement mechanism configured to move the head holding member in the second direction through driving of the second motor.
CARRIAGE
This disclosure is directed to securing, with a simple structure, a head to a position in a carriage without having to fasten screws so as to prevent possible loss of a desired printing quality. A carriage is provided that includes a main housing mounted to a printing unit body, an eccentric cam rotatably disposed in the main housing, a sub housing that holds a head that ejects ink droplets. The sub housing makes contact with a cam face of the eccentric cam and is movable upward and downward relative to the main housing in response to rotation of the eccentric cam. The carriage further includes a rotation regulator that regulates rotation of the sub housing around a rotating shaft of the eccentric cam.
Printing apparatus
There is provided a printing apparatus, including: a base; a thermal head including heating elements arranged in a first direction; a head holding member disposed to be slidable on the base in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction; a rolling member; a first pivoting member; a second pivoting member; a first guide rail extending in the second direction; a first sliding member held by the first guide rail to be slidable on the base in the second direction and having a contact surface which is in contact with the rolling member from a first side in the third direction; a first movement mechanism configured to pivotally move the first pivoting member and the second pivoting member; and a second movement mechanism configured to move the head holding member in the second direction.
