The liquid cartridge includes a liquid chamber, a liquid passage, a substrate, a contact, and a memory electrically connected to the contact. The liquid passage extends forward in the insertion direction from the liquid chamber. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The first surface includes: a first region facing upward in the upright posture; and a second region aligned with the first region in the insertion direction in the upright posture. The second region has flexibility. The contact is formed on the first region of the substrate. The memory is mounted on the second surface or on the second region.
LIQUID CARTRIDGE INCLUDING MEMORY MOUNTED ON SUBSTRATE
There is provided a liquid cartridge configured to be inserted into an attachment portion of a printing device in an insertion direction crossing a gravitational direction and attached to the attachment portion in an upright posture. The liquid cartridge includes a liquid chamber storing liquid therein, a liquid passage extending forward in the insertion direction from the liquid chamber, a substrate, a contact and a memory electrically connected to the contact. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other. The first surface includes: a first region facing upward; and a second region lower than the first region in the upright posture. The contact is formed on the first region and is electrically connectable to a contact of the printing device. The memory is mounted on the substrate at a position lower than the contact of the cartridge in the upright posture.
PRINTER
A printer for printing information on a recording sheet, includes a housing configured to accommodate the recording sheet and a printing portion; an attachment member, which is removably mounted to the housing, and has a hook hole for a strap. A portion of the housing, to which the attachment member is mounted, and the attachment member form a rotation regulating portion configured to regulate rotation of the attachment member.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes a medium moving unit that moves a medium support unit supporting a medium, a recording unit that is caused to perform scanning to perform recording on the medium, a base frame that has a flat plate shape and supports the medium moving unit, and a first middle frame and a second middle frame that are supported by the base frame and disposed in a posture intersecting the base frame. When a terminal end portion located at a terminal end, of the base frame, a terminal end portion located at a terminal end, of the first middle frame, and a terminal end portion located at a terminal end, of the second middle frame are caused to face downward and brought into contact with a horizontal surface, the center of gravity of the recording device is positioned vertically above a region surrounded by the terminal end portions.
Method for managing a thermal printer, corresponding device and program
A method for managing printing of data by a thermal printer. The thermal printer includes a thermal print head. The thermal print head has a plurality of points, each point having an effective resistance r.sub.d, and is powered by a power source. The method includes the following actions: measuring a voltage U given by the power source of the thermal printer; measuring an internal resistance r.sub.u of the power source; and computing a duration t for heating a number n of points as a function of the voltage U of the power source, the internal resistance r.sub.u of the power source, at least one effective resistance r.sub.d of at least one point corresponding to a dot to be printed for the printing of the data and as a function of at least one value of parasitic resistance r.sub.p of at least one element of the thermal printer.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
The disclosure discloses an electronic apparatus including a charging device, a plurality of operation mechanisms, and a CPU. The CPU is configured to execute an information acquisition process, a voltage decision process, and a charging control process. In the information acquisition process, capacity-related information corresponding to a charging capacity required for operation of the operating mechanisms is acquired. In the voltage decision process, a charge stop voltage is decided in accordance with the capacity-related information acquired. In the charging control process, the charging device is controlled to stop the charging process by using as a trigger an attainment of the charge stop voltage decided after start of the charging process.
MEDIUM
The disclosure discloses a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a printing processing program for executing steps. In a line specification step, it is determined whether or not an on-dot ratio or the number of on-dots is equal to or greater than a threshold value and at least one print lines equal to or greater than a threshold value is specified. In a labeling step, a plurality of dot groups is identified such that on-dots adjacent to each other form one dot group. In a dot group specification step, at least one first dot groups including the at least one print lines is specified. In a density reduction process step, a density at the time of print formation of the on-dots included in the first dot groups is made lower than a density at the time of print formation of the on-dots included in at least one second dot groups.
CONSUMABLE CHIP, CONSUMABLE CARTRIDGE, VERIFICATION METHOD, AND METHOD OF USING CONSUMABLE CHIP
The present disclosure provides a consumable chip, a consumable cartridge, a verification method, and a method of using the consumable chip. The consumable chip includes a storage module, configured to store verification data, where the verification data at least includes first verification data and second verification data; and a communication module, configured to output the first verification data if an access instruction for verification data is received within a first time interval, and output the second verification data if the access instruction for verification data is received within a second time interval.
