A method of transferring an image to an article is provided using a heat-transfer assembly having a support layer and an image transfer layer, wherein the image transfer layer contains a binder, ink receptor and a film-forming, hydrophilic blocking agent. When an aqueous ink composition is used to print an image on the upper surface of the transfer assembly, the blocking agent is disrupted in the imaged areas, but not the unimaged areas, such that when the image is transferred to a substrate by the application of heat and pressure, substantially all of the binder in the unimaged areas remains with the transfer assembly.

PRINTING METHOD, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND PRINTING DEVICE

A printing method for drawing an image on a transfer-receiving medium by transferring the image printed on a transfer medium to the transfer-receiving medium, the method including: a printing stage of printing the image on the transfer medium with a printing unit, which is a printing device; a hot melt resin adhering stage of causing hot melt resin powder to adhere to the transfer medium; and a transfer stage of transferring the image from the transfer medium to the transfer-receiving medium, in which the printing unit includes a colored ink head that ejects a colored ink and a clear ink head that ejects a clear ink, and in the printing stage, the clear ink is further ejected from the clear ink head to at least a part of a region to which the colored ink is ejected from the colored ink head in the transfer medium.

Dye-deposited base body manufacturing apparatus and dyeing system

A dye-deposited base body manufacturing apparatus manufactures a dye-deposited base body. The dye-deposited base body is used in a dyeing step of dyeing a resin body. A dye to be transferred to the resin body is deposited to a base body. The dye-deposited base body manufacturing apparatus is provided with a printing device, a conveyance device, and a base body movement device. The printing device prints a dye for dyeing the resin body on the base body. The conveyance device conveys a dyeing tray on which the dye-deposited resin body on which the dye is printed by the printing device is placed. The base body movement device moves the dye-deposited base body from a printing position by the printing device to a side of the conveyance device.
