Insect repellant articles and the use of the insect repellant articles. In accordance with certain embodiments, the insect repellant article comprises scent releasing component capable of deterring insects and/or other pests. The insect repellant articles are particularly useful in repelling insects such as bees, which can cause allergic reactions in pets or other animals.

The present invention relates to an improved pet leash for use with two or more pets, such as dogs, that enables a pet owner to control two or more dogs and allows two or more dogs to be walked simultaneously. The leash allows one animal or dog to control or guide the movements and speed of another dog, thereby enabling the first animal to function as a ‘pack leader’ and guide the second animal on how to properly walk or heel on a leash. The leash maintains proximity between the dogs and prevents dogs from running off and jumping on the owner or others, ultimately keeping people and animals safe. The leash offers a way for pet owners, kennel employees and many others to keep optimal control over a plurality of dogs simultaneously on one leash.

Animal leash including an elongate member having a first end region and a second, opposite end region. A clip is arranged at the first end region and attaches to the animal's collar. Two pairs of magnetically coupleable magnets are connected to the member with the first pair including a first magnet at the first end region and a second magnet movable longitudinally along the member and the second pair of magnets including a third magnet movable longitudinally along the member and a fourth magnet at the second end region. An apparatus and method for avoiding the entanglement of a pet leash when restraining multiple pets under leashed conditions is disclosed. The multi-pet leash includes a multi-terminal direct connect line assembly that is operatively coupled to a primary leash lead. The multi-terminal lead is coupled to the primary leash lead through a self-adjusting plexi-slider attached to a distal end of the primary leash lead. A coupling is provided at opposed ends of the multi-terminal lead for attachment to a collar or harness of the pet. The multi-terminal lead is slidably received through the self-adjusting plexi-slider such that each pet retained on opposed ends of the multi-terminal lead are cooperatively joined with the primary leash lead. The cooperative joining of the pets provides an interconnected awareness of the other pet allowing the pets to learn to avoid leash entanglements.

Systems, devices and methods for restraining animals are disclosed. The system includes various collar, harness and leash designs. The collars, harnesses and leashes can include various size adjustor assemblies. The designs can be modular and scalable for improved functionality.

A system and method for providing hands-free animal walking. The system generally comprises a human support device and an animal leash system. The human support device further includes a back center strap, at least one shoulder strap, and an adjustable body strap, to provide ergonomic support and even distribution of force to the user. The animal leash system further includes an elastic leash system to connect the human support device to an animal. When combined, the animal harness and leash system provides an improved, ergonomically sound hands-free animal walking system. The system is particularly adapted for hand-held health sensors, to track health information of the user.

An animal lifting device and method is provided. In particular, a hip member and a chest member are provided that have handles thereon. The chest member and the hip member may be selectively interconnected to each other with an interconnection member. The chest member may include an upper portion, shoulder pads, a chest pad, a center cross member, and an adjustable strap. The disclosure describes an animal leash that includes a strap including first and second strap portions stacked one over the other, the strap having a first end and a second end. The leash includes a first coupling link attached to the first end of the strap, and a second coupling link attached to the second end of the strap. Along a middle section of the strap, the first and second strap portions form loops. The first coupling link is operable for attachment to any one of the loops. The disclosure also describes a storage attachment for use with an animal leash.
