LASER MARKABLE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE A PACKAGING THEREWITH
A method of manufacturing a packaging, optionally preprinted by flexo or offset, includes the steps of applying one or more laser markable compositions on at least a part of a packaging, and forming a colour image by laser marking the one or more applied laser markable compositions, characterized in that the laser markable compositions include a leucodye, a developing agent or developing agent precursor, and optionally an optothermal converting agent. The method is especially suited for manufacturing a packaging selected from the group consisting of a food packaging, a drink packaging, a cosmetical packaging and a pharmaceutical packaging.
Ink compositions
An ink composition includes a fluid and a plurality of microcapsules suspended in the fluid. The fluid includes a first chemical compound that exhibits a first color characteristic in a first pH range and exhibits a second color characteristic in a second pH range, where the first color characteristic is visually distinct from the second color characteristic. A second chemical compound is contained within the microcapsules, such that rupturing at least a subset of the plurality of microcapsules releases the second chemical compound. Releasing the second chemical compound shifts a pH of the fluid from a first pH in the first pH range to a second pH in the second pH range.
Label, wristband clip, paper material and ink ribbon containing carbon dioxide absorbent liposome
Provided are a label, a top layer material formed on a printing medium, an information-bearing medium, a solid fuel and a wristband clip having the function of absorbing carbon dioxide, and carbon dioxide reduction methods using the same. Provided are labels 101, 120, 130 and 140, top layer materials formed on a printing medium 201, 246 and 266, information-bearing media 301, 330, 350 and 360, a solid fuel 401, and a wristband clip 510, to which a new carbon dioxide absorbent is added. Provided are also carbon dioxide reduction methods of absorbing carbon dioxide by burning the same.
Paint compositions with color change characteristics
A paint composition includes a fluid and a coloring agent in the fluid. The fluid maintains the coloring agent in a first protonation state. The coloring agent exhibits a first color characteristic in the first protonation state. The paint composition includes microcapsules in the fluid. The paint composition also includes a chemical compound in the microcapsules. Rupture of at least a portion of the microcapsules is configured to release the chemical compound and expose the coloring agent to the chemical compound. Exposure of the coloring agent to the chemical compound changes the coloring agent from the first protonation state with the first color characteristic to a second protonation state with a second color characteristic. The second color characteristic is visually distinct from the first color characteristic.
LASER MARKABLE COMPOSITIONS, MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTS
A colour laser markable composition includes at least a first and a second Diffusion Hindered Molecular Assembly (DHMA), each including a leuco dye and, respectively, a first and second sensitizer. With the laser markable composition, at least two different colours may be formed in a single layer.
Thermochromic micro particles and thermochromic ink composition, writing apparatus and smart window using the same
The present invention relates to thermochromic micro particles capable of stably implementing a high chromogenic property and a decolorization property and having an improved erasing property, thermal resistance, and chemical resistance, and a thermochromic ink composition, a writing apparatus, and a smart window using the same. The thermochromic micro particles comprise a core part including a phase change material and a dye, the phase change material including a phenol-based compound containing an aliphatic functional group having a carbon number of 6 or more; and a shell layer including a polymer resin.
