IMAGE DECOLORING APPARATUS
In accordance with an embodiment, an image decoloring apparatus comprises a conveyance path configured to convey a sheet on which an image is formed with a coloring agent that is decolored by heat; a first heat roller configured to be arranged at the upstream side of the conveyance path; and a second heat roller configured to be arranged at the downstream side of the conveyance path. Each of the first heat roller and the second heat roller includes a cylindrical portion and a heat source. The thickness of the cylindrical portion constituting the first heat roller is larger than the thickness of the cylindrical portion constituting the second heat roller. In this way, the heat capacity of the first heat roller is also larger than the heat capacity of the second heat roller.
Reversible thermochromic and photochromic ink pens and markers
Reversible thermochromic and photochromic ink compositions and markers, pens or writing instruments that use them are herein disclosed.
Tunable directional color transition compositions and methods of making and using the same
Color change compositions that transition from a first to second color state upon application of an applied stimulus are provided. Also provided are substrates having the compositions on a surface thereof, as well as methods of making and using the compositions.
Image erasing method that selectively decolors a sheet based on user information encoded on the sheet
An image erasing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a scanner that reads an image printed on a sheet with decolorable colorant, the image including a first owner information. A decoloring unit decolors the image printed on the sheet. An input device receives a second owner information. A controller identifies the first owner information included in the image read by the scanner, and determines whether the first owner information corresponds to the second owner information. Based on the determination, the controller selectively controls the decoloring unit to decolor the image.
Thermochromic color-memory composition and thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating same
[Problems] An object of the present invention is to provide: thermochromic color-memory composition which effectively expresses a property of being capable of interchangeably memorizing and retaining colors and is thus applicable to various fields; and thermochromic memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same. [Means for Solution] Provided are thermochromic color-memory composition and thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same, the thermochromic color-memory composition comprising: (a) a component composed of an electron-donating color-developing organic compound; (b) a component composed of an electron-accepting compound; and (c) a reaction medium which comprises an ester compound represented by the following Formula (1) and controls color reaction between the components (a) and (b): ##STR00001##
(wherein, R represents an alkyl group having 4 to 22 carbon atoms, a cycloalkylalkyl group having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 4 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 4 to 22 carbon atoms; X represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; and n represents 0 or 1).
Thermochromic color-memory composition and thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating same
Provided are thermochromic color-memory composition and thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same, the thermochromic color-memory composition including: (a) a component composed of an electron-donating color-developing organic compound; (b) a component composed of an electron-accepting compound; and (c) a component composed of an ester compound represented by the following Formula (1) as a reaction medium which controls color reaction between the components (a) and (b): ##STR00001##
(wherein, R represents an alkyl group having 3 to 18 carbon atoms or an aliphatic acyl group having 3 to 18 carbon atoms; X represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 or 2 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; Y represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and Z represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 or 2 carbon atoms or a halogen atom).
Reversible thermochromic and photochromic ink pens and markers
Reversible thermochromic and photochromic ink compositions and markers, pens or writing instruments that use them are herein disclosed.
Conveyor line system and conveying container
A conveyor line system, including: an image processing device configured to irradiate a recording part with laser light to record or erase, or record and erase an image, wherein the conveyor line system is configured to manage a conveying container containing the recording part, and wherein the following formula is satisfied at a wavelength of the laser light emitted from the image processing device when recording the image:
A+50>B where A is an absorbance of the recording part, and B is an absorbance of the conveying container.
DECOLORING APPARATUS AND SORTING METHOD FOR PAPER DISCHARGE IN DECOLORING APPARATUS
In accordance with one embodiment, a decoloring apparatus comprises a processor, a decoloring section, a shift roller, a paper discharge section and a paper discharge roller. The processor determines whether or not to execute either a decoloring job or a non-decoloring job. The decoloring section decolors an image on paper formed with decolorable coloring agent. The shift roller moves paper for decoloring job or paper for non-decoloring job in a direction orthogonal to a paper discharge direction of the paper on a same plane for a given distance to sort it. The paper discharge section stacks discharged papers. The paper discharge roller discharges the paper sorted by the shift roller to the paper discharge section.
