A fabric printable medium that comprises a fabric base substrate with an image-side and a back-side. An ink-receiving layer comprising, at least, one crosslinked polymeric network, is applied to the image-side of the fabric base substrate; an opaque layer comprising polymeric binder and filler particles, is applied to the back-side of the fabric base substrate; a black light absorption layer comprising polymeric binders, filler particles and black pigment, is applied over the opaque layer; and a protective layer comprising two or more binders is applied on the top of black light absorption layer. Also described herein are a method for forming the fabric printable medium and a printing method that includes ejecting an ink composition onto the fabric print medium described herein.

Installing printed media

A printed media display system includes a media mounting surface carrying discrete male touch fastening elements arranged in a field extending across the surface, and print media in the form of a flexible sheet having a fastening side and a print side, the fastening side featuring engageable fibers in a fibrous field extending across a length and width of the flexible sheet. The system exhibits particularly good wrinkle propagation and engaged alignment properties.

Printable medium

A printable medium with a non-woven base composite supporting substrate; at least two coating layers, on the image side of the composite supporting substrate, that include an ink fixing layer, directly applied upon the supporting substrate, comprising a salt; and an image receiving layer, applied over the ink fixing layer, including pigment fillers and polymeric binders; and a barrier layer, containing a flame-retardant agent, applied on the backside of the composite supporting substrate. Also disclosed are the method for producing printed images using said media and the resulting printed material.

Printable recording medium

An example of a printable recording medium includes a base substrate and an ink-receiving layer. The ink-receiving layer includes an inorganic pigment in an amount equal to or greater than 70 wt % and an ink-fixing agent in an amount ranging from about 3 wt % to about 10 wt % based on the total wt % of the ink-receiving layer. The inorganic pigment has a median particle size ranging from about 0.5 μm to about 5 μm. The ink-receiving layer excludes precipitated calcium carbonate.

A method of forming an image on a print media including releasably securing a fabric layer to a carrier layer, the carrier layer including a first surface including a first area, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a first rigidity, the fabric layer including a third surface, a fourth surface opposite the third surface and including a second area, and a second rigidity less than the first rigidity, and a first adhesive, wherein the fabric layer is secured to the carrier layer by the first adhesive bonding a first portion of the fourth surface to the first surface, applying a first liquid marking material to a first portion of the third surface of the fabric layer, and drying the first liquid marking material to the first portion of the third surface with a first dryer.

System and apparatus for producing multilayered printed matter

A multilayered printed matter is made up of a plurality of layers formed on a medium, including a front layer and a back layer with patterns printed thereon, and a white layer and a black layer interposed between the front layer and the back layer so as to conceal the back layer to be invisible from the front-layer side. The system for producing the multilayered printed matter includes a computer that executes a printing step of moving the medium and an inkjet head relative to each other using a moving device and printing the front, back, white, and black layers on the medium using the inkjet head, and a cutting step, subsequent to the printing step, of moving the medium and a cutting blade relative to each other using the moving device and cutting the medium using the cutting blade.

This disclosure provides a printing template for use during an aqueous inkjet printing process in which ink is transferred onto a metal panel. The printing template includes a printable film having die cut area inside perimeter edge of its first layer, a generally flat metal panel having the same size as to that of the die cut area in the printable film, and a carrier having a recess which is sized and configured to encompass the shaped perimeter of the metal panel. The metal panel is secure within the die cut area and the recess in such a way that it is sandwiched between the printable film and the carrier during the printing process.
