11001054 · 2021-05-11 ·

This disclosure provides a printing template for use during an aqueous inkjet printing process in which ink is transferred onto a metal panel. The printing template includes a printable film having die cut area inside perimeter edge of its first layer, a generally flat metal panel having the same size as to that of the die cut area in the printable film, and a carrier having a recess which is sized and configured to encompass the shaped perimeter of the metal panel. The metal panel is secure within the die cut area and the recess in such a way that it is sandwiched between the printable film and the carrier during the printing process.

Printable recording medium

An example of a printable recording medium includes a base substrate, a first ink-receiving layer, and a second ink-receiving layer. The first ink-receiving layer includes a first inorganic pigment in an amount equal to or greater than 70 wt % and a first ink-fixing agent in an amount ranging from about 3 wt % to about 10 wt % based on a total wt % of the first ink-receiving layer. The second ink-receiving layer includes a second inorganic pigment. Both the first ink-receiving layer and the second ink-receiving layer exclude precipitated calcium carbonate.

Printable media and methods for forming an image on the same

A printable media including a carrier layer, a fabric layer and a first adhesive. The carrier layer includes a first surface having a first area, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a first rigidity. The fabric layer includes a third surface, a fourth surface opposite the third surface and including a second area, and a second rigidity less than the first rigidity. The fabric layer is secured to the carrier layer by the first adhesive bonding a first portion of the fourth surface to the first surface.

Printable media

A printable media comprising a supporting substrate, including fibers, having an image side and a non-image side, which contains an image receiving layer coated on the image side of the supporting substrate. The image receiving layer comprises pigment fillers, polymeric binders and ink optical density enhancement agents. Also disclosed is a method for producing the textured media.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE PARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING PRINTED MATTER

A pressure sensitive adhesive particle includes a styrene resin; and a (meth)acrylate resin, wherein the (meth)acrylate resin contains two kinds of (meth)acrylates as a polymerization component in which the weight proportion of the (meth)acrylate to the total polymerization components is 90% by weight or more, and has two glass transition points in which a difference between the lowest glass transition temperature and the highest glass transition temperature is 30 C. or higher.

FABRIC PRINTABLE MEDIUM

A fabric printable medium includes a fabric base substrate including yarn strands and voids among the yarn strands; a finishing coating attached to the yarn strands of the fabric base substrate to form coated yarn strands; and pore spaces among the coated yarn strands and coinciding with at least some of the voids of the fabric base substrate. The finishing coating includes a crosslinked polymeric network. The fabric printable medium further includes a fire retardant coating applied to aback-side of the coated yarn strands.

Pressure-printed material preparing apparatus

A pressure-printed material preparing apparatus includes an attachment unit that attaches, powder which exhibits adhesiveness when pressure is applied, to a surface to be bonded of a recording medium; a fixation unit that applies pressure to the recording medium to which the powder is attached to fix the powder to the recording medium as an adhesive layer; a folding unit that folds the recording medium of which the adhesive layer is formed on the surface to be bonded, such that two portions of the surface to be bonded are opposed to each other; and an application unit that applies pressure to the recording medium in which the surfaces to be bonded are opposed to each other, to thereby bond the adhesive layer on one surface and the adhesive layer on the other surface.

THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE-RECEIVING SHEET

[Problem] To provide a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet that makes it possible to produce an image-printed item having high smoothness.

[Solution] In a first embodiment of the present invention, a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet is characterized by comprising a receiving layer, a first resin layer, a paper substrate, and a second resin layer in this order, wherein the paper substrate has a thickness of 95 m or more and 135 m or less, the first resin layer has a weight of 20 g/m.sup.2 or more and 60 g/m.sup.2 or less, the second resin layer has a weight of 19 g/m.sup.2 or more and 35 g/m.sup.2 or less.

A fabric print medium containing a fabric base substrate with a first and a second side; a polymeric barrier layer that is extruded, or a polymeric barrier layer with adhesion property that is laminated, on at least one side of the fabric base substrate; a primary coating composition that includes a polymeric binder and filler particles applied over a polymeric barrier layer; and an image-receiving coating composition that includes, at least, a first crosslinked polymeric network and a second crosslinked polymeric network, that is applied over the primary coating composition. Also disclosed are the method for making such fabric print medium and the method for producing printed images using said material.

Multilayered printed matter
10723159 · 2020-07-28 · ·

A multilayered printed matter includes print layers (pattern layers) formed on a medium and having patterns printed thereon, and a concealing layer interposed between the print layers. The concealing layer conceals the pattern printed on one of the pattern layers not to affect the pattern of the other pattern layer. The concealing layer is formed on a back side relative to the other pattern layer. The print layers between the medium and one of the print layers on the back side of the other pattern layer (back-side print layers) respectively have recessed parts recessed into their surfaces toward the back side. The back-side print layer between the other pattern layer and the medium has a protruding part to fill one of the recessed parts and thereby planarize a surface of the back-side print layer. Hence achieving improved appearance and visual quality of the multilayered printed matter.
