Use of the print medium claimed in a digital printer or a printer based on the use of inkjet technology heads, characterized in that a print medium is printed directly.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INKJET PRINTABLE PAPER OR FOIL FOR USE AS A DECOR PAPER OR FOIL
An inkjet receiver coating may be used in a method for manufacturing a paper or a thermoplastic foil that is printable with an inkjet printer. The paper or the foil may be used as a decor paper or a decor foil, respectively, in a laminate panel. The paper or the foil may be coated on at least one side with the inkjet receiver coating. The inkjet receiver coating may include at least pigment and binder, and an ink reactive compound.
Coating For Ink-Jet Paper And Methods Of Manufacture
Disclosed an ink jet printing paper and a coating color used in preparing the paper, and associated methods for manufacturing the paper and its coating. The coating comprises the following components as raw materials: an anionic pigment, an adhesive and a cationic polymer, wherein the adhesive comprises a silane-modified polyvinyl alcohol. In the inventive ink jet printing paper coating, the raw material cost can be relatively low, the coating color solids content can reach 50% in many embodiments, and the coating can have a good water-retaining property. It can be suitable for large-scale production. In ink jet printing, it can give clear images with high color density, and can meet demanding requirements for high speed commercial ink jet printing.

The invention relates to transfer paper for sublimation printing, having one or more alkaline earth salts on at least one face thereof.
Face films and pressure sensitive laminates for printing
Microporous structures in face films are described for improving printability of the films. Also described are laminates and pressure sensitive adhesive laminates including the microporous structured face films. Various related methods are additionally described.
Systems and Methods for Improved Ink Receptive Substrate
An ink receptive substrate including an ink receptive layer configured to receive at least one inkjet ink. The ink receptive layer having a plurality of first silica particles and a plurality of second silica particles, wherein the average particle diameter of the first silica particles is different than the average particle diameter of the second silica particles. The ink receptive layer also having a first acrylic polymer and a second acrylic polymer, wherein the first acrylic polymer and second acrylic polymer are partially miscible. In one aspect, the includes ink receptive substrate includes a base layer configured to support the ink receptive layer and a high water capacity layer configured to reduce water accumulation in the ink receptive layer.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PANELS HAVING A DECORATIVE SURFACE
A method is provided for manufacturing a printed paper layer. The method may involve providing the paper layer with a printed pattern. Providing the printed pattern may involve depositing water based inks using a digital inkjet printer. The water based inks may be pigment containing inks. The dry weight of the deposited pigment containing inks may be lower than 9 grams per square meter. The paper layer may include an inkjet receiver coating, such that the inks are deposited on the inkjet receiver coating. The inks may be of at least four colors including black, cyan, red, and yellow.
Printed substrate and method for printing onto a substrate
A printed substrate, wherein a printed polymer layer is present on a surface of the substrate, is disclosed. The printed polymer layer includes a polymer selected from group consisting of one or more of polyvinyl chloride, a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, and a terpolymer of vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and ethylene; a plasticizer; a colorant; and calcium carbonate.
