DEVICE FOR PRINTING HOLLOW BODIES
20190143669 · 2019-05-16 ·

A device for printing hollow bodies includes a rubber blanket cylinder. A supply device, which guides the hollow bodies to the rubber blanket cylinder, is provided. The supply device comprises a mandrel which is rotated by a drive. One of the hollow bodies to be printed is arranged coaxially on the mandrel. An axial spacing between the mandrel and the rubber blanket cylinder can be changed as a result of an adjusting movement of the supply device. The adjusting movement of the supply device is a linear adjusting movement. The supply device is configured as a linear system which radially supplies the hollow bodies to the rubber blanket cylinder individually and one after the other. The supply device has multiple different positions, each of which places the respective hollow body to be printed, along the adjustment path of the supply device. The positions are arranged at different respective radial distances with respect to the rubber blanket cylinder.

Card for Cleaning Printed Media Transport System and Method of Using Same

A media transport device is cleaned by using a cleaning substrate that sized and configured to fit within at least a portion of a media travel pathway of the transport device. A locking member may secures the cleaning substrate in a substantially fixed position within the transport device while the transport device is operated. The cleaning substrate also may include scarifying holes that scrape debris from media conveyors of the transport device, and flaps that fit under and clean belts of the transport device. Cleaning the transport device may include opening a section, positioning the cleaning substrate in the section without operating the media conveyors' motor, closing the section and then operating the transport device so that the media conveyors move, contact the cleaning substrate and are cleaned while the cleaning substrate remains substantially fixed within the transport device.

Method of cleaning of a printed band of flexible material, as well as an apparatus therefor

A method for cleaning a printed band of flexible material, in which at least one side printing ink comprises with a device. The device comprises a cleaning organ such as a brush roll, and the method the steps comprises of the contacting of the band which printing ink comprises with a cleaning liquid, and the removal of the printing ink which been brought into contact the cleaning liquid with the cleaning organ to obtain a cleaned band of flexible material. Before the effective of adhered liquid getting rid of, comprises the device a pair of wiper blades into the direction of transport of the band remotely of one another are located and are for the removal of the cleaning liquid the band at an angle first via an uppermost wiper blade and subsequently via a lowermost wiper blade of the pair fed.

A blade assembly of a waste catchment system for a roller having a support plate for attachment to a tray of the waste catchment system and a blade holder. The blade holder configured to receive a blade having a longitudinal axis and a free edge extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis and adapted to engage with the roller to be cleaned. The blade holder configured to receive and retain the blade, the blade being removably attachable to the blade holder. One of the blade holder and blades includes a channel and the other of the blade holder and blade includes a protrusion configured to be seated in and retained within the channel. There is a clearance fit between the channel and the protrusion.

CLEANING OF A SURFACE IN A PRINTING DEVICE

The present disclosure relates to cleaning a surface in a printing device, wherein a steam guiding member directs a steam flow towards the surface; wherein the steam flow interacts with a substance on said surface to clean a portion of the surface.

ANILOX CLEANING BLANKET

An anilox cleaning blanket. The anilox cleaning blanket may be installed on a plate cylinder of a printing system to clean an anilox roll. The blanket is made of a substrate. An adhesive layer is disposed on an upper surface of the substrate. A plurality of microfibers having a positive charge are adhered to the substrate by the adhesive layer. The microfibers engage with and clean the surface of the anilox roll.

An inking system for a printing press is provided, including a structural member; an internal ink manifold housed in the structural member; a shuttle inside the internal ink manifold and movable along a length of the internal ink manifold; and a plurality of ink supply sources, a first ink supply source for connection to a first end of the internal ink manifold and a second ink supply source for connection to a second end of the internal ink manifold.

Internal Ink Manifold and Ink Changing Method

An inking system for a printing press is provided, including a structural member; an internal ink manifold housed in the structural member; and a shuttle inside the internal ink manifold and movable along a length of the internal ink manifold.

LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS

There is provided a liquid ejecting apparatus including: a head having a nozzle surface in which a nozzle is opened; a wiper configured to move relative to the head in a state that the wiper is in contact with the nozzle surface; and a controller. The controller is configured to move the wiper relative to the head based on a moving velocity determined based on parameters including first parameter according to a receding contact angle of a liquid to be discharged from the nozzle and second parameter according to a viscosity of the liquid.

RECORDING DEVICE

A recording device includes a facing portion disposed facing a liquid discharge head and a wiper configured to wipe the head surface of the liquid discharge head by moving in the medium conveying direction with respect to the liquid discharge head. The facing portion is movable, to a recording position at which the facing portion faces the liquid discharge head and a retreat position to which the facing portion retreats from the recording position. The wiper is provided at the facing portion switchably between a first posture in which the wiper is configured to wipe the head surface and a second posture in which the wiper is farther from the head surface than in the first posture. The wiper wipes the head surface when the facing portion moves along the medium conveying direction with the wiper being in the first posture.
